Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nalle Puh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Van damm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van damm shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Van damm showed some decent athleticism there. Van damm seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Puh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Van damm is looking for a kimura here.
Puh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Puh is trying to stand up here but Van damm is controlling him well. Puh trying to control here.

Puh throws a strike aimed at the side of Van damm's head but Van damm avoids it well. Van damm sneaks back into half guard. Puh looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Van damm throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Van damm preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Puh winds up and cracks Van damm with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Van damm looking for a sweep. Not yet Van damm, not yet. Puh postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Puh throws a big elbow that misses. Van damm working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Puh. Van damm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Puh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Puh trying to control the position from guard on top but Van damm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Puh content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Tong Van damm has got the better of the ground game so far. Puh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Van damm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Puh has managed to get both his arms back between Van damm's legs - danger averted. Puh preventing the sweep. Puh works a leg free and moves into half guard. Van damm tries to get to full guard but Puh has control of the leg. Puh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Puh is trying to control. Van damm wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Puh working Van damm over with strikes. Puh thows a huge punch but Van damm dodges it nicely.
Van damm is pressing down on Puh's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Puh cracks Van damm with a solid left hand. Puh throws a strike but Van damm rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Van damm trying to control but Puh is working from the bottom. Van damm might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Puh haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Van damm tries to free his leg and advance position but Puh is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Nalle Puh will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Puh can't control as he wanted to and Van damm manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Van damm looking for submissions off his back.

Puh is working to get back to half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cat throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cat walks into a left hand. Carson tries to clinch up but Cat circles away and keeps his distance. Carson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Carson tries to clinch there but Cat circles away.
Carson scores with a decent looking hook. Carson connects with the punch. Cat lands a lovely overhand right. Carson lands with a cross. Cat is looking to slow Carson down with leg kicks. Cat slips under a jab from Carson. Carson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cat manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Carson scores with a hook to the body. Cat takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carson has his takedown stuffed and Cat counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cat lands with a left to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Carson. Carson lands an uppercut. Cat throws a punch but it's blocked by Carson. Carson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Cat scores with a shoulder strike. Cat is trying to break free. Cat breaks the clinch.
Cat lands with a hook. Carson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Carson misses with a looping left. Cat getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Carson shoots in for a double leg but Cat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cat misses with a straight left.

That's going to take a lot out of Glenn Carson. Cat displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carson throws out the jab. Carson lands a really nice looking cross but Cat seems unphased.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Carson misses with an uppercut. Cat saw that one coming. Cat drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Cat misses with an uppercut. Carson shoots in for a takedown but Cat shows good takedown defense. Carson takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Carson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Carson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carson somewhat. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cat.

Cold Cat dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Carson ducks under a wild hook from Cat. Carson throws a hook but Cat avoids it easily. Carson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cat.

Great action here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Cat tries to buck Carson off but Carson is having none of it.

Cat is trying to control Carson's posture but Carson avoids it. Cat being controlled for a moment. Cat manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cat looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Carson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cat trying to control the action but Carson is working from the bottom. Carson trying to control but Cat postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tua throws a wild combination but nothing lands. CanChopper slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Tua throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson moves out of range as Okami strikes. Okami displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wilson throws out the jab. Wilson is looking to score with low kicks. Okami tries to move into range but Wilson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice body punch from Okami. Okami misses with a straight left. Okami lands a jab to Wilson's midsection. Yushin Okami has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wilson doesn't manage to clinch there - Okami circles away.

Okami ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away. Wilson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Okami. Wilson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Okami closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Wilson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Okami misses with a lunging right hand

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okami misses with some punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tilthammer connects with a nice looking jab.
Tilthammer takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hickok lands a jab to Tilthammer's midsection. Tilthammer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hickok sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tilthammer misses with a straight right. Tilthammer throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hickok counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. This has been an exciting period of action! Hickok chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Tilthammer is rocked! Tilthammer looks to throw a body kick and Hickok counters by clinching up. Hickok makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Hickok presses Tilthammer against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Hickok lands a big uppercut and Tilthammer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tilthammer looks OK. Hickok waves Tilthammer back to his feet! Tilthammer is still on wobbly legs! Can Hickok finish him? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hickok misses with a body kick. Tilthammer seems to have recovered his senses. Tilthammer misses with a straight right. Hickok connects with a solid leg kick. Hickok works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hickok looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hickok backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Tilthammer's temple! It sends Tilthammer violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hickok celebrates and the doctors try to help Tilthammer!
