1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daryl Snelson! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lung shoots in but Snelson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Snelson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lung was covering up waiting for the punch and Snelson finishes the takedown easily into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Snelson wants to control from the top but Lung keeps moving. Lung knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snelson on the ground. Lung looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snelson is one step ahead there. Snelson trying to control the position from guard on top but Lung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snelson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lung throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Snelson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lung is keeping the position for now. Lung wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Snelson is now in half guard. Lung looking for submissions off his back. Snelson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Snelson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lung tries to reverse the position but Snelson maintains control. Snelson manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lung to take his back! Snelson has good solid back control here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vampa shoots in looking for a takedown. Hewitt tries to sprawl out of it but Vampa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hewitt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hewitt tries to sprawl but Vampa drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Vampa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hewitt sees it coming and defends easily. Hewitt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vampa pulls his head out easily. Vampa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hewitt keeps working. Hewitt manages to get to full guard.
Hewitt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vampa defends it easily. Hewitt throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vampa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vampa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hewitt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vampa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vampa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hewitt has his foot on Vampa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vampa works his way back into a safe position though. Hewitt isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vampa stacks Hewitt on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vampa! Vampa throws a strike aimed at the side of Hewitt's head but Hewitt avoids it well. Vampa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hewitt keeps working. Vampa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hewitt has escaped the position, nice work there. Hewitt is trying to get back to half guard. Vampa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hewitt looking for submissions off his back. Hewitt actively working from the bottom here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gustafsson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dib counters with a straight right hand. Dib misses with a two punch combination.

Dib cracks Gustafsson with an open hand slap. A combination from Dib does no damage. Gustafsson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dib leaves Gustafsson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gustafsson moves into range and clinches up with Dib. Gustafsson wants a takedown but no success here.

Dib gets a double leg takedown into Gustafsson's guard. Gustafsson keeping full guard, as Dib tries to pass. Gustafsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dib defends well. Dib postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dib trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dib avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Muad Dib will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dib looks to land a right hand but Gustafsson moved out of range. Gustafsson throws a half hearted mid kick. Dib tries to score with a low kick but Gustafsson moves his leg out of the way. Dib thuds his right hand into Gustafsson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Gustafsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dib's waist but Dib gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gustafsson off to one side. Gustafsson fails with the takedown. Dib getting the better of the striking in that exchange. No luck for Gustafsson with that takedown attempt. Gustafsson thows a leg kick but Dib checks it and Dib counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gustafsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dib but Dib pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gustafsson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Gustafsson wants to improve his position but Dib is controlling well.

Dib then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gustafsson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Gustafsson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Dib waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gustafsson. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gustafsson dodges the punch combination from Dib.

And that's the end of the fight! Muad Dib showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dib, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks like Suavey Micthell has been cut. Micthell staying out of range there. Micthell walks into a straight right hand from Brennan. Brennan misses with a straight right. Brennan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Micthell is rocked! Micthell ducks right into an uppercut from Brennan. Micthell is still on wobbly legs! Can Brennan finish him? Brennan misses with a wild combination.
Brennan throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Micthell colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Brennan as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Micthell is left battered and dazed whilst Brennan and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Brennan! Patrick Brennan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
