The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodrigues shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rodrigues showed some decent athleticism there. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Rodrigues working the head and body with strikes. Rodrigues wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dias keeps working. Dias is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rodrigues pulls his head out easily. Rodrigues is trying to control the action in half guard but Dias is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dias is looking to get back to full guard here but Rodrigues has managed to pass to side control instead. Dias is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rodrigues looks up at the clock and then as Dias takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rodrigues smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Rodrigues throwing shots but missing, from side control. Dias wants to control but Rodrigues postures up. Rodrigues wants to stand but Dias is controlling his arm. Dias can't do much from the bottom here. Dias is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rodrigues off and has taken his back! Rodrigues tries to escape the position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dias isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rodrigues stacks Dias on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rodrigues! Dias tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dias struggling a bit here. Rodrigues trying to control the position but Dias is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dias is looking to regain half guard here but Rodrigues keeps moving and retains side control. Dias knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodrigues on the ground. Dias is trying to control Rodrigues's posture but Rodrigues avoids it. Dias sneaks back into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dias works his way to full guard. Good work. Dias is looking for a triangle but Rodrigues pushes his legs off easily.
Dias has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rodrigues is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dias. Rodrigues stands up and beckons Dias to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dias lands a nice hook to Rodrigues's body. Rodrigues takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Rodrigues bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dias scores with a nice head shot. Dias lands with a good body shot. Rodrigues looks winded! Rodrigues takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rodrigues dodges the punch combination from Dias.
Marcos Dias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodrigues takes one to the chin there. Jab, jab by Dias - just one landing.
Rodrigues is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dias lands a brutal uppercut that launches Rodrigues off his feet! Rodrigues tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Magalhaes counters with a head kick. Luke tries for a takedown but Magalhaes circles away easily and Magalhaes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Luke won't be happy with that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Luke is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Magalhaes asserts his dominance and retains side control. Luke tries to buck Magalhaes off but Magalhaes is having none of it. Magalhaes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Luke keeps working. Magalhaes decides to take the fight back to the feet. Josh Luke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Magalhaes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Luke looks winded! Luke pushes Magalhaes off but Magalhaes dives into side control.

Magalhaes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and Belfort makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Gili throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gili throws a body punch but Belfort moves out of range. Belfort feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gilis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Gili throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Belfort sees it coming and avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Belfort. Gili does a little dance to reset his feet. Gili swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Belfort cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gili misses with a combination
letting Belfort counter with a right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gili throws a big shot that misses. Belfort uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gili.

I think Rouisey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Edwin Starr - War. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose misses with a looping left. Rose misses with a right hand and Rouisey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rose is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A big right from Rouisey misses. Rouisey lands a jab-cross combination. Rose closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rouisey tries to roll over but Rose keeps him under control. Rouisey is working hard here to advance position. Rose missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rose not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rouisey wants to get back to his feet. Rose looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rouisey with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rose connects with a nice short shot to Rouisey's temple. Rouisey gets full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Parlma throws out a loose jab but Diego uses good head movement to avoid it. Parlma takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Diego moves away from the strike by Parlma. A jab from Diego finds it's way through Parlma's defenses. Diego displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parlma throws out the jab. Parlma throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Parlma misses with a straight left. Diego lands a nice shot to the body.

Diego tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parlma swats him away and circles back towards the center. Diego throws a right hand that Parlma ducks under and follows up with a left that Parlma also avoids with ease. Parlma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diego moves away. Diego lands a nice looking body shot.
Diego moves in looking to clinch but Parlma pushes him off. Parlma on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Parlma avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parlma misses with a hook. Diego ducked under it nicely. Diego tries to clinch up. Parlma swats away the attempt to clinch by Diego. Diego tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parlma paws at him with a jab and circles away. Diego tries to score with a low kick but Parlma moves his leg out of the way. Diego slips a jab from Parlma. Parlma misses with a hook. Parlma throws a jab but it's blocked by Diego. A swing and a miss from Parlma. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Diego - that will leave a mark!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diego connects with a high kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Diego.
Diego throws a front kick that sends Parlma stumbling back into the cage. Parlma has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Diego throws a chopping leg kick but Parlma manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Don Diego showed his dominance in that final round. I think Diego has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
