Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Andre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor God of Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. Thor God of Thunder struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Thor God of Thunder enters the cage!

15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thor God of Thunder! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.

God of Thunder shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Andre counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
God of Thunder shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than God of Thunder was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Andre can't do much from the bottom here. Andre isn't going anywhere. Andre is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but God of Thunder has just dragged him back down to the mat. Andre stops God of Thunder from passing to mount. Andre can't do much from the bottom here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! God of Thunder prevents Andre from escaping the position. Andre manages to work his way to half guard, despite God of Thunder's best efforts.

That's going to take a lot out of Thor God of Thunder. Andre fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Andre stalks God of Thunder and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into God of Thunder's face. God of Thunder staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. God of Thunder throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Andre counters with a head kick. That will keep God of Thunder thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! A head kick from Andre lands but God of Thunder takes it in his stride.

Andre with a body punch. A glancing blow. God of Thunder seems to have recovered his senses. Andre uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Andre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Andre is looking to wear down God of Thunder with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Andre jabs God of Thunder right on the nose. God of Thunder blinks but takes it well. God of Thunder shoots in but no luck this time.

God of Thunder tries for a takedown but Andre circles away easily and God of Thunder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. God of Thunder on the wrong end of a nice hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andre displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from God of Thunder. Andre throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! God of Thunder tries to clinch up but Andre circles away and keeps his distance. Andre misses with a series of wild punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice sprawl there from Andre as God of Thunder shoots in. Andre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but God of Thunder moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Andre misses with a two punch combination.
God of Thunder dives in and grabs Andre's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andre pushes down on God of Thunder's head and hops out.
God of Thunder has Andre up against the cage in a clinch.
Andre is trying to break free. Andre is trying to push God of Thunder away but God of Thunder has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Andre connects with a body shot that sends God of Thunder's belly button to the back. Andre connects with a good right hand that stumbles God of Thunder. God of Thunder circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Andre is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Andre plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Andre lands a nice hook to God of Thunder's body. God of Thunder takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. God of Thunder avoids the head kick by Andre.
Horrible takedown by God of Thunder or perhaps it was just good defense by Andre which made him look bad. Paulo Andre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thor God of Thunder. Jab from Andre.

God of Thunder shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Paulo Andre is winning the standup battle so far. God of Thunder shoots in for a takedown but Andre shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. God of Thunder is breathing heavily. Look low, kick high! Andre uses the oldest trick in the book to send God of Thunder tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Andre is absolutely delighted - when God of Thunder wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Paulo Andre! After winning the bout, Paulo Andre thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Danzig's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, the Smiths - Meat Is Murder. Pablo has chosen smoke the fire as his entrance music. Juan Pablo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Danzig's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mac Danzig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pablo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Danzig fails with an attempt to clinch.

Shleifer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Shleifer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
White tries to clinch up but Shleifer circles away and keeps his distance. White shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shleifer defends it nicely. Shleifer thows a left - swing and a miss! Shleifer ducks right into an uppercut from White. White thows a body shot but no joy. Shleifer scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
White is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Shleifer's half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vegata connects with a nice short shot to Picard's temple. Angle misses with a takedown and Alves counters with a series of strikes. Angle will be more careful next time no doubt. Angle shoots and misses and Alves counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Freddy Alves seems to be getting the better of the standup. Angle shoots and misses and Alves cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oh Angle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Angle fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Alves circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Angle to the canvas! Angle doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Alves keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Bika trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bika throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely. Bika distracts Gracie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bika throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bika is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie. Bika wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy.
