Vita uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gabriel.
Vita closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gabriel quickly recovers to half guard.

Gabriel has hold of Vita's hands but Vita slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Gabriel is looking for a sweep. Vita is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Nishi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gelfand's guard.

Gelfand changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nishi tries to avoid it but Gelfand manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nishi to the ground. Nishi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryan Gelfand.
