The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thicke misses with a few strikes there.

Griffin gets tackled into the cage by Thicke. Thicke maintains the clinch.
Thicke is trying to pull guard but Griffin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Thicke tries to pull guard but Griffin holds him up against the cage and eventually Thicke drops back down to his feet.

Griffin lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Thicke lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Griffin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Griffin showed some decent athleticism there.
Griffin looks to land a strike but Thicke avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Brad Thicke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
