11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ducks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Duck scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Duck misses with an attempted mid kick.
Duck drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Duck misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Jones looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duck connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A nice inside leg kick there by Duck. That's going to slow Jones down. Duck thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jones if he has to take too many more of those.
Duck tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Duck scores with a leg kick.
Duck lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jones's sensitive parts. Duck throws a nice inside leg kick. A head kick misses from Duck.

This has been an exciting period of action! Duck keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick. Duck lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Duck lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Duck takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Duck feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Duck! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatti walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brasi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Brasi missing with a left hand there. Hatti was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Brasi moves into the clinch successfully.
Hatti has had enough of the clinch but Brasi keeps him there for the moment. Brasi with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A nice left hand lands by Brasi.
Hatti tries to circle away but Brasi has him pinned against the ropes. Brasi drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hatti throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brasi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hatti is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hatti is trying to escape the mount.
Hatti wants to hold on but Brasi pushes him away. Hatti knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brasi on the ground. Hatti can't escape the position.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hatti tries to get out of the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montana scoring well with a low kick there.
Montana lands a front kick. Montana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Montana throws a body punch but Icarus moves out of range. Icarus takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A low kick from Montana misses and Montana takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Spud Montana has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montana ducks under a wild hook from Icarus. Montana throws a leg kick and Icarus counters with a lovely straight right hand! Icarus cracks Montana with an uppercut from hell and Montana crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Icarus's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Montana is rocked! Montana is working an open guard so Icarus takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Oh Montana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Icarus feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Montana collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Laz Icarus! Laz Icarus tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

PoopyPants throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Swanson shoots in for a takedown but PoopyPants shows good takedown defense. PoopyPants scores with a nice head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. PoopyPants darts in and clinches Swanson up against the ropes. PoopyPants prevents the takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Swanson passes easily into side control. Nice work.

PoopyPants on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. PoopyPants wants to improve his position but Swanson is controlling well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Swanson drops an elbow to the side of PoopyPants's head. That was a close round but I would say that Karl Swanson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Swanson walks into a left hand. PoopyPants paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. PoopyPants misses with a hook. PoopyPants dodges the punch combination from Swanson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinsson shoots for a double leg takedown but Bak sprawls well. He's pushed Martinsson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bak closes the distance but Martinsson moves to the side and Martinsson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bak gets caught napping as Martinsson dives in and scores a takedown. Bak manages to retain guard. Bak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bak is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Martinsson passes Bak's left leg - he's now in half guard. Martinsson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Martinsson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
