Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rejinaldo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Roy Jones - Can't be touched. Jordan has chosen Vamos as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladislav Kovarik decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Horrible takedown by Zol or perhaps it was just good defense by Pleasures which made him look bad.
Pleasures keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pleasures bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zol's head.

It looks like Jay Zol has been cut.

Pleasures manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zol on his heels. He'll look to pass Zol's guard now, I'm sure.
Zol wants to stand and escape but Pleasures is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. John Pleasures was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Pleasures tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zol wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like Shin Gouki has been cut.
Gouki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and The Greek has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The Greek goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Gouki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Gouki connects with a right that clearly hurt The Greek. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Gouki proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till The Greek collapses and taps out under the pressure!
