Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Powers has chosen Real American as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kenny Powers was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesus Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenny Powers! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cruz throws a right and a left that Powers avoids nicely. Cruz shoots for a takedown but Powers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jab by Powers. Cruz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Powers scores with a shot to the body.
Powers lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Powers lands with a shot to the body. Cruz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Cruz looks for a takedown but Powers sprawls well. Powers jabs at Cruz's body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice body punch from Powers. Cruz shoots for a double leg takedown but Powers sprawls well. He's pushed Cruz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cruz is breathing heavily. Powers lands with an overhand left. Nice uppercut lands for Powers. That snapped Cruz's head back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Powers keeps the fight on the outside. Powers lands a left and a right that send Cruz crashing to the mat, dazed. Powers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cruz is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Powers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cruz.
Powers smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Powers punishes Cruz's body with a nice straight punch. Kenny Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Powers moves into range and connects with a jab. Powers is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Powers scores with a shot to the body.
Cruz walks into a left hand. Powers tests Cruz's chin there with a solid looking shot. Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cruz. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Powers scores with a shot to the body.
Powers scores with a hook. Cruz seems to have got his legs back now. Powers digs a good hook to Cruz's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Powers lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cruz doesn't seem phased though. A punch lands to the side of Cruz 's head but he takes it in his stride. Powers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cruz's head backwards. Powers goes for a small jab and connects. Now Powers goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Cruz stumbles back but Powers runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Cruz to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Cruz will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kenny Powers! Kenny Powers decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennins Daniels! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels connects with a body shot. The fighters circling - Daniels throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Paris tries for a takedown but Daniels circles away easily and Daniels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Craig Paris has been cut. No luck with that takedown attempt from Paris. Daniels clobbers Paris with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. This has been an exciting period of action! Daniels scores with a hook to the body. Paris takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Paris misses with a left hand and Daniels counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Paris takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dennins Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paris fails with the takedown and Daniels scores with a counter punch that sends Paris to the canvas! Daniels smells blood - he's punishing Paris with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Paris has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennins Daniels! Dennins Daniels is the new welterweight champion! A relieved looking Dennins Daniels thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain scores with a one two! Seed had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sam Seed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Seed with a lazy takedown attempt and Pain counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Pain fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pain misses with a wild combination.
Pain throws a series of punches but Seed avoids them all with ease. Seed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Seed wants to control but Pain is keeping him busy. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Seed tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Seed is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seed lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pain down.
Seed throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Pain sneaks back into half guard. Pain is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain is looking to escape. Pain works his way to full guard. Good work. Seed wants to control from the top but Pain keeps moving. Seed working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Pain lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Seed! Seed is working to get back to half guard.
Seed tries to hold on but Pain pushes him away. Pain is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Seed can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Seed regains half guard. Seed wants to improve his position but Pain is controlling well.

Pain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Seed is just riding it out for now. Pain eventually gives up the hold.

Pain passes easily into side control. Nice work. Seed tries to bench press Pain off him but Pain keeps the position. Pain working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Pain has knee on belly and moves into mount. Pain looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain prevents Seed from getting the reversal. Seed tries to hold on but Pain pushes him away. Seed working to try and regain half guard.
Pain swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Thai Tanic! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rold tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tanic was well out of range. Poor timing from Rold. Rold attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Rold misses with a head kick.
Rold ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tanic moves away. Tanic moves in looking to clinch but Rold pushes him off. Rold swats away the attempt to clinch by Tanic. Some bone on bone action there as Tanic checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Tanic shoots in for a takedown but Rold shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rold thows a body shot but no joy. Tanic doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Rold looks to score with a jab to the body but Tanic is just out of range. Tanic shoots in looking for a takedown. Rold tries to sprawl out of it but Tanic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rold manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tanic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rold paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanic shoots for a takedown but Rold saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Enrique Rold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thai Tanic. Rold misses with a wild body shot. Rold fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tanic on the side of the head. Rold is looking to wear down Tanic with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Tanic thows a body shot but no joy. Tanic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rold shoots in for a takedown but Tanic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rold takes a swing at Tanic's ribcage but misses. No luck for Tanic with that takedown attempt. Tanic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tanic checks the leg kick. Good work by Tanic as he checks the leg kick. Rold scores with a shot to the body.
Tanic blocks a low kick nicely. Tanic gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tanic is adopting a defensive guard. Rold wants to control from the top but Tanic keeps moving. Tanic has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Rold throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rold accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tanic trying to strike off his back.
Tanic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rold wants to pass the guard but Tanic is keeping the position. Rold throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rold advances to half guard. Rold is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tanic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tanic looks like he's trying to stand up.

Tanic can't keep his opponent in guard - Rold advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tanic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rold. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tanic is defending against the submission attempts here by Rold.
Tanic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rold is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tanic sees it coming and defends easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rold is pressing down on Tanic's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tanic is holding on for now. Rold lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rold swings away with a leg kick that misses. Rold displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tanic. Rold shoots in looking for a takedown but Tanic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rold's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Thai Tanic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tanic wants to clinch up but Rold keeps it at a distance. Tanic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tanic slaps away a takedown attempt from Rold, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rold loads up on a big right hand but Tanic slips the punch. Thai Tanic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rold manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tanic on his heels. He'll look to pass Tanic's guard now, I'm sure.

Rold working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rold might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rold trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rold drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tanic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tanic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tanic! Enrique Rold overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tanic goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rold rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tanic's guard! Nice work there by Rold! Rold working some strikes from top position.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rold works to advance to full mount. Tanic defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Tanic has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Rold's lack of action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tanic can do anything to dispel that myth. Rold postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Tanic badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Rold around the waist but Rold pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Rold is the winner by TKO! Rold jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
