The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pike gets tackled into the cage by Salcedo. Salcedo maintains the clinch. Pike effectively controlling the action here. Pike landing knees to the head.

Oh Salcedo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pike has Salcedo pressed against the cage. He pushes Salcedo back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Pike throws a beautiful elbow that sends Salcedo crashing to the floor! Pike piles on the pressure with more strikes! Salcedo is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammerstone scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Hammerstone throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Munoz colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Hammerstone as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Munoz is left battered and dazed whilst Hammerstone and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gein swings away with a leg kick that misses. Yang tries to sprawl but Gein drives through with a takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Yang is defending against the submission attempts here by Gein.
Gein tries to pass the half guard into mount. Yang knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gein maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Yang could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gein has cracked it and Yang is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gein!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez lands with a slapping head kick. Levasqua keeps the fight on the outside. No luck for Sanchez with that takedown attempt. Levasqua tries to keep at a distance but Sanchez has taken the fight into the clinch. Levasqua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Levasqua closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Levasqua is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sanchez! Levasqua lands a big shot there that rocks Sanchez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawford looks for a takedown but McCluster sprawls well. Crawford misses with a takedown and McCluster counters with a single leg into guard. Crawford didn't expect that. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. McCluster works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crawford tries to kick McCluster off but McCluster keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. McCluster is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crawford can do anything to dispel that myth. Crawford tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Crawford wants to get back to his feet. McCluster passes the guard and advances to mount! Crawford working to try and regain half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCluster is working for a guillotine from mount but Crawford frees his head quite easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kupper stuffs the takedown. Kupper fails in his attempt to clinch. Bryant throws a head kick but Kupper moves out of range.
Bryant tries to clinch up but Kupper circles away and keeps his distance. Bryant fails with the takedown and Kupper counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kupper is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bryant is trying to maintain the position but Kupper is very close to passing his half guard. Kupper content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bryant is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kupper slows the pace down in half guard. Kupper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bryant with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kupper works his way into full mount! Kupper trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bryant is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kupper trying to control but Bryant is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryant wants to control but Kupper is having none of it. Kupper fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kupper pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kupper landing punches. Kupper wants to finish this one by submission but Bryant is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kupper.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kupper controlling from the full mount. Kupper looking to finish Bryant with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bryant! Kupper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kupper tries to control but Bryant wriggling away. Kupper cracks Bryant with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kupper landing strikes from the mount. Bryant taking shots to the head. Kupper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kupper mounts Bryant! Really nice guard pass there! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bryant is squirming around, avoiding Kupper's attempts to control the action. Kupper controlling from the full mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Kupper dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kupper keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bryant. Bryant gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kupper throws a big elbow that misses. Kupper wants to pass the guard but Bryant is keeping the position. Bryant can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kupper controls the pace. Kupper stands up and waves to Bryant to follow him. Kupper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kupper does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Kupper clinches. Kupper stalling in the clinch.
Bryant jumps guard and drags Kupper to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Kupper tries to free his leg and advance position but Bryant is retaining full guard. Bryant keeping moving, preventing Kupper from controlling successfully. Kupper not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bryant wants to sweep but no luck. Kupper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Ben Kupper wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kupper swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bryant counters with a left to the body. Bryant doesn't manage to clinch there - Kupper circles away.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Ben Kupper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kupper trying to control the position but Bryant is working away. Kupper sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bryant is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kupper is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bryant has escaped the position, nice work there. Kupper decides to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Kupper dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Bryant instigates a clinch. Bryant has picked Kupper up - he's going for a ride! Bryant dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Kupper gets full guard. Kupper is looking to stand back up but Bryant counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kupper. Kupper looks like he's trying to stand up.

Kupper pulls Bryant in close to his closed guard and prevents Bryant from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kobe Bryant wasn't active enough on the ground. Bryant fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bryant takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bryant tries to throw a body punch but Kupper avoids it by throwing Bryant back against the cage. Kupper tries to circle away but Bryant has him pinned against the cage. Kupper is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kupper gets control of Bryant's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kupper will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kupper pulls Bryant in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kupper pushes Bryant off and gets back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kupper shoots in and gets a takedown into Bryant's guard. Kupper postures up and lands a big shot to Bryant's brow. Kupper passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kupper thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kupper creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kupper controlling from side mount. Kobe Bryant has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ben Kupper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kupper advances nicely into full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Ben Kupper showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kupper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
