Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lisha Sure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Studebaker Hawk! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk shoots in and bounces Sure off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sure wants to get back to his feet but Hawk is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sure will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hawk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawk trying to control but Sure is working from the bottom. Hawk controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hawk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hawk wants to control from the top but Sure keeps moving. Sure knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hawk on the ground. Hawk wants to pass the guard but Sure is keeping the position. Sure wants to get back to his feet but Hawk is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk with a flurry of punches that miss. Sure looking for a sweep. Not yet Sure, not yet. Sure wants to get back to his feet but Hawk is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hawk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hawk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sure is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hawk is stalling in the full guard. Hawk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hawk works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hawk is looking for a kimura but Sure is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hawk to get the leverage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sure is trying to stand up here but Hawk is controlling him well. Hawk seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sure is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith wants to clinch and Kaluma counters with an inside leg kick. Smith tries to clinch there but Kaluma circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bobberson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Offerson's head.
