Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rob Butti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haris Bajric!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bajric throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bajric leaves Butti with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Butti tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bajric sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Butti somewhat.
Bajric displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Butti.

Butti rushes Bajric and presses him up against the cage.

Haris Bajric is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Butti dives in and grabs Bajric's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bajric pushes down on Butti's head and hops out.

Butti moves into range and clinches up with Bajric.
Bajric has had enough of the clinch but Butti keeps him there for the moment.
Butti drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bajric gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bajric blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Butti closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Butti changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bajric fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Butti tries for a takedown but Bajric sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Butti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bajric but Bajric pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Butti dodges the punch combination from Bajric.
Good leg kick by Butti there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rob Butti will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Butti tries to close the distance and clinch but Bajric swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Butti backs away from a small jab... but Bajric lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Butti crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Bajric with a spectacular finish!
