The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luthor misses with a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Luthor. No joy for Santiago on that attempt. Luthor tries a head kick but it misses.
Luthor throws a head kick but Santiago moves out of range.
Luthor lands with a kick to the temple. Santiago shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Santiago checks a leg kick. Luthor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Luthor throws a sloppy head kick and Santiago moves out of range easily. Santiago blocks the body kick.
Luthor throws a chopping leg kick but Santiago manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Luthor throws a leg kick which misses Santiago's front leg but catches the back leg as Santiago tries to avoid it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Luthor swings for the body but Santiago moves out of range.
Luthor throws a head kick that misses. Santiago moves out of range of the body kick. Santiago shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Luthor but Luthor pushes him off and we're back to square one. Luthor looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Santiago fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Santiago. That's going to take a lot out of him. Luthor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Santiago.

Santiago in side control lands a decent elbow. Santiago working away. Luthor is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luthor is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Santiago off and has taken his back! Santiago is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Luthor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Luthor is trying to control the action in half guard but Santiago is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Santiago tries to get to full guard but Luthor has control of the leg. Luthor content to control rather than advance.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Lex Luthor hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Santiago avoids the body shot from Luthor.
Santiago looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Luthor is doing well to control the position and prevent Santiago from advancing to side control. Santiago tries to pass to full mount but Luthor defends it.

Santiago with shots to the head and body - Luthor looks very uncomfortable down there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Luthor is in all sorts of trouble here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hernandez tries for a takedown but Slice sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A jab lands there for Slice. Slice fails to land with a series of punches.
Slice takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Slice throws a right and a left that both miss. Slice scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slice as he jumps to the side. Slice connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hernandez momentarily.

This has been an exciting period of action! Slice swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hernandez. Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slice throws a nice inside leg kick. Hernandez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Slice lands a head shot. No joy there for Slice, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Slice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hernandez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hernandez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Slice has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Hernandez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hernandez somewhat. Slice misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hernandez.

Slice looks to land a combination. Hernandez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab from Slice does it's job there. Hernandez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slice but Slice pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hernandez is breathing heavily. Slice scores with a one two! Hernandez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice dominated that round. That's time! Hernandez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slice scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hernandez gets the takedown into side control. Hernandez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slice, who protects the arm well. Hernandez throws a strike aimed at the side of Slice's head but Slice avoids it well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Slice avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hernandez. Hernandez trying to control the position but Slice is working away. Slice takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Slice tries to kick Hernandez off but Hernandez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hernandez is looking for a kimura but Slice is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hernandez to get the leverage. Slice is staying active underneath Hernandez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hernandez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hernandez lands a nice short elbow. Hernandez not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slice keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hernandez content to control rather than advance. Hernandez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slice does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hernandez cracks Slice with a big right hand but Slice just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hernandez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slice does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hernandez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hernandez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hernandez connects with a nice short shot to Slice's temple. Slice looks like he's trying to stand up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bloom is looking to clinch. Bloom cracks Oliveira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Oliveira throws a hook but Bloom blocks it. Oliveira jabbing away but nothing is landing. A swing and a miss from Oliveira. Good leg kick by Bloom there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Oliveira misses with an uppercut. Bloom saw that one coming. Oliveira throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Oliveira tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A jab lands there for Oliveira.
It looks like Orlando Bloom has been cut. Bloom takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bloom is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oliveira throws a jab but it's blocked by Bloom. Oliveira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bloom was well out of range. Poor timing from Oliveira. Bloom tried to score with a low kick but Oliveira checks it. Bloom instigates a clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Marquez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Dog shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Marquez gets full guard. Dog trying to control the position from guard on top but Marquez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Marquez managing to control the position. Marquez keeping moving, preventing Dog from controlling successfully. Dog is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dog slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macintosh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chaney as he avoids it easily. Macintosh darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Macintosh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chaney doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Macintosh. Chaney is holding on to half guard well. Macintosh works his way into side control. Macintosh working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Chaney tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sloppy strikes there by Macintosh.
