The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sammakko throws a big shot that misses. Sammakko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Langfors. Sammakko avoids the body shot from Langfors.
Niko Langfors seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sammakko takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Langfors throws the left hand but Sammakko avoids the punch easily. Langfors rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sammakko counters with a good low kick that Langfors was not able to check. Langfors thows a body shot but no joy. A looping hook to the body misses from Langfors. Sammakko does a little dance to reset his feet. Langfors ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sammakko moves away. Langfors misses with a wild combination.
Langfors misses with a hook. Sammakko ducked under it nicely. Langfors throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sammakko on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sammakko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Langfors looks to throw the jab but Sammakko is out of range. Sammakko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Langfors. Langfors throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The fighters circling - Langfors throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Good shot there by Langfors. Sammakko closes the distance and clinches. A short left from Sammakko. Sammakko throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Langforss head. A short uppercut from Sammakko. Sammakko unloads a knee to the mid-section. Langfors lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A short right from Sammakko on the inside. Sammakko pushes Langfors back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Langfors is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sammakko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Langfors backwards. Sammakko pulls guard effortlessly. Sammakko has his hands on Langfors's head, controlling the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Saku Sammakko hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Langfors misses with a hook
and Sammakko makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Sammakko lands with a nice body punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sammakko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Langfors to the mat! Langfors manages to get full guard. Sammakko is looking to work some ground and pound but Langfors has wrist control. Sammakko pushing down on Langfors's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sammakko is looking to take a break and control but Langfors is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sammakko thows a huge punch but Langfors dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Langfors taking some punishment here, with Sammakko in his half guard. Sammakko has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Langfors defend it? Sammakko steps over the head and cranks it - Langfors is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sammakko!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans throws a leg kick but Henry moved away. Evans thows a left - swing and a miss! Evans lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jab from Evans. Henry does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. An inside leg kick from Henry misses. Evans stalks Henry and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Henry's face. Henry staggers backwards, shaken. Marcus Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sloppy strikes from Evans. Those never looked like landing. Henry checks a low kick from Evans. Evans displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Henry throws out the jab. A telegraphed right hand from Evans misses the target. Evans dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Evans keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Henry with a lazy takedown attempt and Evans counters with a straight right hand. Evans throws a shot from downtown. Henry moves away and avoids it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Evans connects with a right hand. Henry shakes it off. Evans tries to bum rush Henry with a series of wild strikes but Henry uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Evans throws a big shot that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry throws a hook to the side of Evans's head but Evans sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Evans fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Henry checks it well. Evans blocks a low kick nicely. Henry takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Evans lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Henry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Henry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Evans takes a swing at Henry's ribcage but misses. Evans misses with a lunging right hand
and Evans takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Evans scores with a jab. Henry acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Evans takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Henry throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans checks a leg kick nicely. Henry moves out of range of the strikes. Henry shoots in looking for a takedown. Evans tries to sprawl out of it but Henry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Evans manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Marcus Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hungy Henry. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Henry checks a leg kick. Henry has a takedown stuffed. Henry looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Henry looks to land a strike but Evans avoids it nicely and regains full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Evans dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Evans attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Evans connects with a good right hand that stumbles Henry. Henry circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Evans swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A jab from Evans does it's job there. Evans takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Evans works the jab nicely. Evans changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Evans with a hook. Henry moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Evans lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's one minute gone in the round. Evans checks a leg kick. Evans throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Henry sees it coming and avoids it easily. Evans smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Henry takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Henry takes a body punch but keeps moving. Evans lands a glancing blow to the side of Henry's head. Henry has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. A combination from Henry does no damage. Nice uppercut there from Evans. Evans clobbers Henry with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Henry checks a leg kick. Henry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Evans finds it's way round the side to connect with Henry's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evans lands a jab to Henry's midsection. Evans looks to land a right hand but Henry moved out of range. Nice uppercut there from Evans. Evans throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Evans thuds his right hand into Henry's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Henry walks into a stiff left hand from Evans. Henry drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Henry throws an elbow but Evans slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry lands an elbow. I wouldn't like to be where Evans is right now. The strikes coming from Henry are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Evans tries to get back to half guard but can't. Henry creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Evans sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Henry working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Evans wants to get back to his feet. Evans struggling a bit here. Evans is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henry misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Sloppy strikes there by Henry. Evans manages to work his way to half guard, despite Henry's best efforts. Henry throws a strike but Evans avoids it easily and moves to full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Henry wants to pass the guard but Evans is keeping the position. Evans wants to sweep but no luck. Henry throws a big elbow that misses. Henry throws a strike but Evans rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Evans passes Henry's left leg - he's now in half guard. Evans lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Evans dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Evans stands up over Henry, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Henry is on top in guard.
Hungy Henry has got the better of the ground game so far. Evans lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Henry! Henry keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Evans is landing with some decent strikes but Henry is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Evans with a couple of short strikes. Henry in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Evans landing punches.
Henry is rocked! Evans is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Henry goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Evans!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pejkaiya gets caught napping as Manres dives in and scores a takedown. Pejkaiya manages to retain guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Manres got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pejkaiya has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manres has managed to get both his arms back between Pejkaiya's legs - danger averted. Manres trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pejkaiya looking to control.

Fary throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lankari. Lankari goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fary!

Fary's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fary duly obliges. Lankari keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Lankari gets control of Fary's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lankari will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lankari is looking for a triangle but Fary pushes his legs off easily.

Lankari shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fary manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fary holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ting Yan Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Costanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wang comes into the arena with Minority - Green Day blaring out of the sound system. Costanza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Do the Opposite kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Costanza! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costanza pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ting Yan Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Costanza throws a lazy uppercut
and Wang moves into the clinch. Costanza takes a shot to the head. Costanza tries to throw a body punch but Wang avoids it by throwing Costanza back against the cage. Wang lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Costanza backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Costanza. Wang blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wang tries a body shot but Costanza blocks it.
Wang is pushing Costanza up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Costanza takes a shot to the head. Costanza misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wang wants to break free but Costanza has control.

Both fighters circling a little - Wang finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Wang misses with the body kick and Costanza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wang throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Costanza blocks a jab. Wang punishes Costanza's body with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Daniel Costanza has been cut. Costanza tried to score with a low kick but Wang checks it. Wang takes a swing at Costanza's ribcage but misses. Wang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Costanza moves away. Costanza thuds his right hand into Wang's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wang connects with a single shot there. Wang throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Wang connects with a looping right hand.

Wang tries to close the distance and clinch but Costanza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wang throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Wang lands a big right hand that sends Costanza crashing to the mat! Wang stays standing though and waves Costanza back to his feet!
Costanza is rocked! Wang is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Costanza flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Costanza is out cold! Wang holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vasara. Vasara connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Good shot there by Vasara. Sami Vasara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vasara tries to bum rush Riggs with a series of wild strikes but Riggs uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Vasara moves out of range as Riggs strikes. Riggs misses with a looping right. Vasara misses with a wild body shot. Vasara tries to clinch but Riggs is having none of it. Riggs takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Riggs throws a hook but Vasara blocks it. Vasara finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nice shot by Riggs. A looping hook to the body misses from Vasara. Riggs does a little dance to reset his feet. Vasara avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Riggs cracks Vasara with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Riggs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vasara was well out of range. Poor timing from Riggs. Riggs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This has been an exciting period of action! Good work by Riggs as he checks the leg kick. Riggs swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Riggs takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Riggs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vasara as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derek Riggs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vasara leaves Riggs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Riggs pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vasara tumbling to the mat - Riggs dives into Vasara's guard. Vasara seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vasara bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Riggs's guard. Vasara wants to get up but he can't break Riggs's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sami Vasara dominated that round. That's time! Riggs's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Riggs takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Riggs throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vasara stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Vasara staying out of range there. Riggs avoids a kick to the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Riggs throws a body punch but Vasara moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vasara sprawls well. Vasara wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Riggs gets slowly back to his feet. Vasara takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Vasara misses with a low kick.

Vasara feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riggss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vasara moves into the clinch successfully.

Riggs has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Vasara bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Riggs's guard. Vasara tries to stand but Riggs is controlling from the bottom. Vasara wants to control from the top but Riggs keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vasara wants to stand but Riggs is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sami Vasara will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Riggs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vasara. Riggs throws a looping overhand right but Vasara ducks down to avoid it. Vasara thuds his shin into the meat of Riggs's side. Vasara darts in and clinches Riggs up against the cage. Riggs gets through Vasara's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Riggs stalling in the clinch but Vasara improves position. Vasara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Riggs's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vasara connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Riggs scrambles back to his feet. Vasara lands a front kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vasara rushes Riggs and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Vasara landing knees to the head.
