The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canthropus swats away the attempt to clinch by Lagoo.
Lagoo scores with a hook to the body. Canthropus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lagoo cracks Canthropus with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Pithe Canthropus has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Lagoo as he connects with a hook.
Lagoo lands with an uppercut that bounces Canthropus off the cage and back into range.

Canthropus is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lagoo throws the left hand but Canthropus avoids the punch easily.
Lagoo throws a looping overhand right but Canthropus ducks down to avoid it.
Lagoo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Lagoo closes the distance and clinches up with Canthropus, looking for a takedown. Lagoo pushes Canthropus against the cage but Canthropus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lagoo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Canthropus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Canthropus misses with a hook. Lagoo ducked under it nicely.
Lagoo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Canthropus.
Lagoo throws a body punch but Canthropus moves out of range.

and Canthropus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Canthropus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lagoo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Canthropus throws a wild hook but Lagoo just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Canthropus gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Lagoo raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sasha Lagoo!
Sasha Lagoo very nearly forgot to thank Steel Penn's Laundry 93% amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Ramirez bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ramirez slips a jab from Stark.
Stark loads up on a big right hand but Ramirez slips the punch.
Stark throws out a loose jab but Ramirez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ramirez lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ramirez lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stark has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Stark there as he acknowledges the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
