1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Argo Gulskii! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wall gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Gulskii trying to control but Wall is working from the bottom. Wall not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gulskii pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wall is keeping the position for now. Gulskii decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Phart uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Daez. Daez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. A nice combination there by Phart.

Phart is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Phart manages to kick Daez off! Daez jumps back into Phart's guard. Daez seems to be working for a kimura but Phart defends the submission attempt. Daez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Wall wants to control from the top but Bill keeps moving. Wall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bill is keeping the position for now. Wall looking to sit in guard and control but Bill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bill is looking to advance position but Wall has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Wall punishing his opponent with strikes. Wall landing punches. McBoo wants to clinch up but Dillon keeps it at a distance. McBoo moves in looking to clinch but Dillon pushes him off. McBoo moves out of range of the body kick from Dillon.

Bong is trying to control the action in half guard but Ivory is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bong missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bong gets the takedown into side control. Bong throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Bong taking a breather here. Bong trying to control the action but Ivory is working from the bottom. Bong is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ivory has escaped the position, nice work there. Bong swings around for an armbar but Ivory sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bong's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bongo Bong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Bong moves out of range as Ivory strikes. Ivory gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bong counters with a single leg into guard. Ivory didn't expect that. Ivory keeping full guard, as Bong tries to pass. Ivory is trying to keep Bong in close.
Ivory wants to stand up but Bong is controlling him. Ivory keeping moving, preventing Bong from controlling successfully. Ivory looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bong is one step ahead there. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ivory is working hard here to advance position. Ivory can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bong controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bong has gone for a leg lock! Ivory slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bong's guard. Ivory works over Bong with some ground and pound from guard. Bong looking for a sweep. Not yet Bong, not yet. Bong not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bong has control of Ivory's left arm, preventing Ivory from doing any damage. Bong wants to sweep here but Ivory controlling him for the moment. Allen Ivory has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bong is looking to take a break and control but Ivory is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bong lands a nice forearm strike. Ivory striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Ivory wants to control but Bong postures up. Bong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ivory is looking for a sweep. Ivory is trying to buck Bong off. Bong working away.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bong blocks the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivory with a poor takedown so Bong counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ivory keeping moving, preventing Bong from controlling successfully. Ivory is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ivory controls Bong momentarily but Bong frees himself. Bong trying to control the position from guard on top but Ivory is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ivory is trying to hold Bong in close to prevent damage but Bong has managed to pass into half guard.
Bong works his way into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bong jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ivory manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bong tries for a kimura but Ivory is defending well. Ivory manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ivory winds up and cracks Bong with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ivory prevents Bong from improving his position. Bong slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ivory can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that's the end of the fight! Bongo Bong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holmes throws a series of punches but thnake avoids them all with ease. Holmes throws a nice looking combination but thnake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. thnake closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - thnake lands in his opponent's guard. Holmes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for thnake on the ground. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as thnake accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. thnake wants to pass the guard but Holmes is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. thnake trying to move into half guard but instead Holmes has managed to sweep! thnake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. thnake throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. thnake has his foot on Holmes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Holmes works his way back into a safe position though. thnake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holmes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holmes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. thnake looks gassed! thnake is looking for a triangle but Holmes pushes his legs off easily.
Holmes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Holmes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horrible takedown by thnake or perhaps it was just good defense by Holmes which made him look bad. Holmes Rushes thnake and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! thnake is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Holmes Piles on the pressure and thnake crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
