The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dealba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cool paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cool tries to sprawl but Dealba drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cool trying to control from the bottom.
Cool is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dealba knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cool on the ground.
Cool slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dealba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cool swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cool is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dealba has his hands clasped together but Cool extends an breaks Dealba's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Cool.

Halleineaf changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lotto tries to avoid it but Halleineaf manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lotto to the ground. Lotto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lotto scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Halleineaf shoots in for a takedown but Lotto shows good takedown defense.
Miguel Lotto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmner Halleineaf.

Stewart is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
