Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lisha Sure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is silver hawk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lisha Sure! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hawk wants it to stay on the feet. Sure shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hawk as he avoids it easily. Hawk tries for a takedown but Sure sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sure throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hawk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sure is refusing to be controlled, as Hawk sits in half guard. Hawk working the head and body with strikes. Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sure is looking for a sweep. Hawk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hawk is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sure is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A very excited looking Studebaker Hawk made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chief cracks Takashi with a right hand to the side of the head. Takashi looks winded! Takashi drives through and clinches with Chief against the cage.
Takashi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Chief is defending well for now. Takashi misses with a punch on the inside.

Takashi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Takashi jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chief throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Takashi tests Chief's chin there with a solid looking shot. An inside leg kick from Chief misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takashi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Chief comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Takashi moves into range and clinches up with Chief. Takashi lands a nice knee to the body. Takashi blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Takashi tries to land knees in the clinch but Chief avoids the damage to the body. Chief lands with a short head shot on the inside. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Takashi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chief.
Chief has Takashi pushed against the cage. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Chief for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Master Chief will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Lee Takashi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Takashi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith moves to clinch but Kaluma breaks away and Kaluma counters with a nice double leg into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kaluma stopping the sweep attempt from Smith. Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaluma on the ground. Kaluma throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smith works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Smith wants to get back to his feet but Kaluma is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Smith seems keen to control Kaluma's posture. Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kaluma is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
