4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lemmy Krusic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 26 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dalton Pressnell! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pressnell moves in looking to clinch but Krusic pushes him off. Krusic shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Krusic showed some decent athleticism there. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Krusic thows a huge punch but Pressnell dodges it nicely.
Krusic is looking to take a break and control but Pressnell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Krusic takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Krusic in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Krusic scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Krusic wants to take a breather but Pressnell is having none of it. Krusic working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krusic looks to score some points with some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krusic working over Pressnell with some ground and pound. Pressnell looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Krusic is keen to just control but Pressnell is a slippery customer. Krusic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pressnell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Pressnell taking some punishment here, with Krusic in his half guard. Krusic tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pressnell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Pressnell is pressing down on Krusic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Krusic gets to his feet - Pressnell follows without any prompting. Krusic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pressnell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pressnell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Krusic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Krusic has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Pressnell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Krusic paws at him with a jab and circles away. Krusic wants to clinch. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pressnell lands a two punch combo.

Pressnell is defending well but Krusic drives through and ends up in Pressnell's guard. Pressnell keeping moving, preventing Krusic from controlling successfully. Pressnell can't keep hold of the triangle and Krusic manages to pass to side control! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pressnell is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Krusic is breathing heavily. Pressnell tries to close the distance and clinch but Krusic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pressnell moves into range and clinches up with Krusic. Pressnell pulls guard effortlessly.

Krusic on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Krusic tries to get out of the position. Krusic avoids a strike by Pressnell and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Pressnell's guard! Fantastic escape!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcfee Jr takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Sampaio scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Mcfee Jr wants to clinch up but Sampaio keeps it at a distance. Mcfee Jr misses with a series of wild punches.

Mcfee Jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sampaio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcfee Jr's waist but Mcfee Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sampaio off to one side. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mcfee Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Sampaio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mcfee Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sampaio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sampaio tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcfee Jr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sampaio stalling. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mcfee Jr won't allow Sampaio to pass to mount.
