1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alistair Nauman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kim Skeide! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skeide changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nauman tries to avoid it but Skeide manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nauman to the ground. Nauman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Skeide stuffs the takedown attempt from Nauman. Nauman gets slowly back to his feet. Nauman stuffs the takedown. Nauman has taken the fight to the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nauman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A battle for position here, against the cage. Nauman is working for takedown but Skeide is calmly controlling the position for now. Nauman looking to throw knees to the head but Skeide is blocking nicely.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Skeide is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Skeide is working for takedown but Nauman is calmly controlling the position for now. Alistair Nauman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Skeide. Skeide lands an elbow just above Nauman 's eye.
It looks like Alistair Nauman has been cut. Nauman effectively controlling the action here. Skeide unloads a knee to the mid-section. Nauman is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Skeide tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nauman smiles and moves away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Skeide obliges. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe misses with a hook. Joe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A jab from Martell misses. Martell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Oberyn Martell has been cut. A big left from Joe misses. Martell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Joe. Martell on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Martell slips under a jab from Joe. Martell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joe as he avoids it easily. Joe cracks Martell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Martell shoots in but no luck this time. Joe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Martell ducks right into an uppercut from Joe. Martell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joe's waist but Joe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martell off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oberyn Martell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joe misses the jab. Martell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Martell is rocked! Martell slips a jab from Joe. Average Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe lands a big uppercut and Martell crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Martell looks OK. Joe waves Martell back to his feet! Oh Martell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Joe throws an overhand right that lands on Martell's shoulder, as Martell tries to avoid the shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A telegraphed right hand from Joe misses the target. Martell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Joe. Joe throws a lazy right hand but Martell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Joe throws a hook to the side of Martell's head but Martell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Joe throws the left hand but Martell avoids the punch easily. Joe throws a jab but it's blocked by Martell. Martell seems to have got his legs back now. Martell ducks under a wild hook from Joe. Joe connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Joe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Martell sprawling to the canvas! Martell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Joe finish him?!
Joe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Martell. Joe ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Martell's jaw. Martell's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Joe does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Average Joe! A very excited looking Average Joe made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macready tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tessin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Macready tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tessin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A jab lands there for Macready. Macready throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tessin sees it coming and avoids it easily. A slow jab from Tessin misses its intended target. Tessin just misses with a punch to the body.
Macready wants to clinch. Tessin thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tessin closes the distance and clinches up with Macready, looking for a takedown. Tessin pushes Macready against the cage but Macready circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Macready lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Macready doesn't manage to clinch there - Tessin circles away.
Tessin thows a body shot but no joy. Nice uppercut there from Macready. A big left from Macready misses. Macready throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tessin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Macready closes the distance and clinches. Tessin taking a breather. Tessin is trying to break the clinch but Macready is controlling him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tessin is trying to maintain a safe position but Macready gets an underhook and turns Tessin into the cage. Macready softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Tessin is trying to pull guard but Macready turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Tessin has a couple of punches blocked by Macready.
Macready lands a big right hand that drops Tessin! The killer instinct kicks in and Macready finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Macready!

Saibot needs to keep his hands up - O Malloy had a free shot at his head there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Flynn to the mat! Flynn manages to get full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Flynn keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully. Silva looking to pass the guard. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Flynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Flynn wants to sweep but no luck. Flynn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silva trying to control but Flynn is working from the bottom. Flynn has Silva pulled in close to control his posture. Silva wants to pass the guard but Flynn is keeping the position. Silva trying to control but Flynn is working from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alex Silva. Nice takedown defense from Flynn. No joy for Silva on that attempt. Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Flynn on that attempt. Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Flynn which made him look bad. Flynn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Flynn, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Flynn against the cage but Flynn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silva dives in and scores a takedown into Flynn's guard. Flynn looking for a guillotine here but Silva defends easily.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Flynn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. No luck for Flynn with that takedown attempt. Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flynn as he jumps to the side. Flynn fails with a takedown attempt from distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flynn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Flynn is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Cole Flynn will probably get the nod. That's time! Flynn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cole Flynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Silva. Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Flynn. Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Flynn to the mat! Flynn manages to get full guard. Silva wants to control from the top but Flynn keeps moving. Flynn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Flynn's guard. Silva is keen to just control but Flynn is a slippery customer. Flynn is controlling Silva's position as best he can from this difficult position. Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Flynn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva. Flynn looking for submissions off his back. Flynn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control.
