Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Bomlech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fakhri El Hashem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Hashem has chosen Kassaman as his entrance music. Wesley Bomlech had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fakhri El Hashem has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El Hashem lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bomlech looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! El Hashem throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bomlech crashing down! Bomlech tries to stagger back to his feet but El Hashem just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bomlech asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fakhri El Hashem! Our winner, Fakhri El Hashem, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banger throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Excellent takedown into side control there by Seregeily. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Banger is looking for a sweep. Banger is not content to let Seregeily control the position. Seregeily lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Banger down.
Banger is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Seregeily's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Seregeily wants to pass to mount but Banger is defending the position. Seregeily is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Banger is just riding it out for now. Seregeily eventually gives up the hold. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Vitomino. Donovan tries to clinch up but Vitomino circles away and keeps his distance. Vitomino lands a left and a right that send Donovan crashing to the mat, dazed. Vitomino thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Richie Donovan has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Vitomino shoots in for a takedown but Donovan shows good takedown defense. Oh Donovan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Donovan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Donovan seems to have got his legs back now. Vitomino throws a chopping leg kick but Donovan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. A big left from Vitomino misses. Donovan circles away from the clinch attempt.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Donovan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vitomino swats him away and circles back towards the center. Donovan tries to clinch but Vitomino moves out of range. Donovan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vitomino on his heels. He'll look to pass Vitomino's guard now, I'm sure.

Vitomino jumps guard and drags Donovan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Vitomino should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Vitomino is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Donovan is aware though and is defending well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vitomino is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Vitomino has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Donovan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vitomino wants it to stay on the feet. Donovan tries to keep at a distance but Vitomino has taken the fight into the clinch. Donovan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vitomino's elbow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jawara fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Monseigneur checks it well. Jawara takes a swing at Monseigneur's ribcage but misses. Jawara connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jawara shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Monseigneur eats them both and turns towards Jawara to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Arthur Monseigneur has been cut. Jawara tries to close the distance and clinch up but Monseigneur swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Monseigneur!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Monseigneur has a takedown stuffed. Monseigneur avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Monseigneur takes one to the chin there. Good exchange - Jawara coming out on top. Monseigneur fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jawara manages to avoid it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gustafsson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Evil moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gustafsson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Evil is keeping the position for now. Evil has his foot on Gustafsson's thigh. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koira scores with a jab to the body. Koira misses with a straight right. Koira waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yaya. Koira thows a left - swing and a miss! Yaya moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Koira thuds his right hand into Yaya's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Koira cracks Yaya with an open hand slap. Koira lands a slapping body shot.
Yaya doesn't manage to clinch there - Koira circles away.
Koira works the jab nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koira's jab looks to have found its range, popping Yaya under the eye. Yaya avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Koira throws a right hand that misses
and Yaya counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Yaya. Yaya pressing his opponent against the cage. Yaya with a knee to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Yaya lands a nice elbow from the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Yaya with a knee to the head.
The cut above Karri Koira's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Koira is trying to break the clinch but Yaya is controlling him. A quick uppercut on the inside from Koira. Yaya is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Koira misses with a hook from the clinch. Koira takes an elbow to the forehead. Koira stalling in the clinch but Yaya improves position. Yaya putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Koira in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Koira looks winded!
