Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brande Eideann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eideann kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is We Didn't Start the Fire. Eideann throws a hook to the side of Steele's head but Steele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A shot to the liver by Eideann. Beautiful body shot.
Eideann bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Steele's head.
Steele on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Eideann doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Steele decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Eideann's guard.

Eideann has his foot on Steele's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Steele works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Steele has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Eideann to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Steele is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Eideann pulls down on the head and he's put Steele to sleep! This one is all over!

With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Handsome B Wonderful!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonderful getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Muntz throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wonderful misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Muntz.
Wonderful scores with a decent looking hook.
Muntz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wonderful pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wonderful ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muntz moves away.

Wonderful decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

No joy there for Wonderful, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wonderful is defended easily by Muntz.
Wonderful takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Nelson Muntz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Handsome B Wonderful.

Muntz stuns Wonderful with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Muntz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wonderful. That did some damage!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wonderful has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Muntz.

Wonderful with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Muntz to score with a decent uppercut.

Muntz cracks Wonderful with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wonderful falls to his knees and Muntz doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

After the fight, Nelson Muntz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
