The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Hashem stuffs the takedown attempt from Mera. Mera gets slowly back to his feet.
Mera fails with a takedown attempt.
A jab from El Hashem does it's job there.
El Hashem smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
El Hashem throws a series of punches but Mera avoids them all with ease.
El Hashem works over Mera's head and body with a nice combination.
The fighters circle momentarily. El Hashem darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
El Hashem throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mera misses with a straight right.
El Hashem scores with a three punch combo!
El Hashem throws out a powerful jab.
El Hashem throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mera colapses and takes a barrage of punches from El Hashem as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mera is left battered and dazed whilst El Hashem and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rampage changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gustafsson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Gustafsson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rampage 's best efforts.
Gustafsson regains full guard. Nicely done.
Rampage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gustafsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gustafsson has his feet on Rampage 's thighs here. He's pushed Rampage off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Rampage screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bauwens gets a clinch.
Bauwens tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Negi just stands there and leans against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Bauwens - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bauwens gets underhooks to prevent Negi's takedown attempt.
Negi tries to land knees in the clinch but Bauwens avoids the damage to the body.

Bauwens jumps guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bauwens looking for a guillotine here but Negi defends easily.
Negi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bauwens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bauwens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Negi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Negi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bauwens is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Negi defends well.

Bauwens escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Negi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Negi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bauwens has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Negi has managed to get both his arms back between Bauwens's legs - danger averted.

Negi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bauwens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bauwens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Negi manages to get himself to full guard.

Bauwens is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bauwens is working for a kimura but Negi is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bauwens stands up and beckons Negi to join him on the feet.
Negi lands with a cross.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bauwens is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Negi's half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bauwens lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bauwens drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bauwens jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bauwens drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bauwens as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Negi screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bauwens! Nice submission victory there!

Serdyuk cracks Yaya with a right hand to the side of the head.
Serdyuk throws a leg kick that is checked
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Serdyuk thows a body shot but no joy.
Levko Serdyuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Serdyuk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yaya avoids it really well and circles away.
Serdyuk throws a hook but Yaya blocks it.
Yaya's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Serdyuk connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Yaya scrambles back to his feet.

Yaya stuffs the takedown attempt from Serdyuk. Serdyuk gets slowly back to his feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Yaya checks a leg kick.

After the fight, Taj Yaya was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
