McFlurry tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pham cranks the arm and McFlurry screams in pain! McCusker has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McCusker there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pony looks to land a left hand but McCusker moved out of range nicely.
McCusker shoots in for a takedown but Pony shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pony throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McCusker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pony's head backwards.
McCusker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pony.
Pony shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McCusker defends it nicely.
McCusker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
David Pony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCusker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
McCusker wants to control from the top but Pony keeps moving.

Kermit Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernandes Cardoso.
Cardoso wants to clinch up but Rodriguez keeps it at a distance.
Rodriguez lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Cardoso up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Rodriguez from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Cardoso's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Mooseheads is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Alexander looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mooseheads gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Alexander is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mooseheads lets go of the hold and Alexander can pop his arm back in it's socket.
