1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Coleman! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Vega swings for the body but Coleman moves out of range.
Coleman tries for a takedown but Vega circles away easily and Vega counters with a right hand to the body. Vega throws a body punch but Coleman moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vega throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Coleman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coleman is defended easily by Vega. Vega swings and misses with a shot to the body and Coleman counters with a takedown into side control. Vega wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is dominant here and he's now got Vega's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vega is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Vega is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vega looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Coleman has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Vega is defending well but eventually Coleman manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Hill throws a head kick that half lands.
Traverse takes one on the button. Traverse throws a combination that misses letting Hill counter with a right hand. Hill misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hill throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A left lands for Hill. Hill lands a high kick!
Hill throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Hill throws a lazy right hand but Traverse sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Traverse fails to land with a series of punches.

enabling Hill to counter with a crisp jab. Hill lands with a right hand.

Hill is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Hill throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Traverse.
Traverse is rocked! Nice defenses there by Traverse. Traverse throws the left hand but Hill avoids the punch easily. Traverse throws a series of punches but Hill avoids them all with ease. Hill takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Traverse taking a breather. Traverse gets control of Hill's arms and successfully pulls guard. Traverse will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Hill is posturing up here but Traverse has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hill tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hill has to tap! Slick submission there by Traverse!

Philip Traverse decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MangJose slaps away a takedown attempt from MangThomas, before circling back to the center of the mat. MangJose keeps the fight on the outside. MangThomas fails in his attempt to clinch. MangThomas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. MangJose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from MangThomas. AkoSii MangJose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AkoSii MangThomas. MangThomas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from MangJose.
MangThomas misses with a takedown attempt and MangJose connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A left and a right from MangJose both land. Nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! MangJose doesn't manage to clinch there - MangThomas circles away.

And that's the end of the fight! AkoSii MangJose showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for MangJose, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
