0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Semore Butkiss! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butkiss dives in and grabs Wilde's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wilde pushes down on Butkiss's head and hops out. Wilde looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Butkiss misses with a kick to the body.
Butkiss scores with a push kick. Butkiss misses with a series of wild punches.
Both fighters circling a little - Butkiss finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Wilde on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Butkiss connects with a high kick.
It looks like Kurt Wilde has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Butkiss throws a series of punches but Wilde moves out of range. Butkiss looks to land a combination but Wilde avoids it well. Butkiss throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Butkiss fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilde, pushing him back against the ropes. Butkiss jumps guard and drags Wilde to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Butkiss wants to stand but Wilde is controlling the position. Butkiss manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butkiss moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Butkiss fails with an attempt to clinch.
Butkiss misses with a double jab.
Butkiss has a takedown stuffed. The fight stays on the outside here - Butkiss looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Butkiss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kurt Wilde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Semore Butkiss. Butkiss lands with a nice combination. Wilde backs away looking to recover.
Wilde is rocked! Butkiss scores with a body shot.
Oh Wilde is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butkiss has closed the distance and engaged Wilde in a clinch.

Butkiss throws a series of strikes that have Wilde backpedaling.
Butkiss connects with a jab. Wilde gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Wilde tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Butkiss is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Wilde buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Wilde!! Wilde is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Butkiss throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Semore Butkiss! Our winner, Semore Butkiss, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skaft looks to land a combination but Diat avoids it well. Skaft misses with the combination.

Diat gets caught flat footed, as Skaft shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Diat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Diat stops Skaft from getting back to his feet.
Diat looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diat is trying for a kimura here. Skaft looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Diat wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockford swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Langley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rockford circles away. Rockford rushes Langley and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Rockford prevents the takedown attempt.
Langley has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rockford after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ian Langley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rockford wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Langley tries for a takedown but Rockford manages to get underhooks.
Rockford is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Langley can't fight it off and eventually Rockford manages to take the fight to the floor. Langley looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Langley holds on and takes a little breather. Rockford preventing the sweep. Rockford is looking to stand up but Langley won't let him. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Langley lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rockford! Langley unloading with bombs! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Langley lands a nice shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langley has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rockford's face.
Rockford really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Langley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Langley with shots to the head and body - Rockford looks very uncomfortable down there.
Rockford is rocked! Langley punishing his opponent with strikes. Rockford is still in real trouble! Can Langley finish him? Rockford's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Langley is in the full mount, landing strikes. Rockford in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Langley working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rockford is looking to get to half guard. Langley with the ground and pound from mount. Langley landing strikes, looking to finish! Langley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Langley cracks Rockford with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langley working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Rockford looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Langley! Submission of the night perhaps?
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ian Langley! In his post fight interview, Ian Langley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens slaps away a takedown attempt from Judge, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stevens drives through and clinches with Judge against the ropes.
Stevens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A slow jab from Stevens misses its intended target. Nice shot by Judge. Stevens misses with a wild combination.
A big left from Stevens misses. Judge takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stevens misses the shot to the body. Stevens waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Judge. Stevens tries to clinch but Judge is having none of it. Judge misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stevens dodges the punch combination from Judge.
Judge lands a jab-cross combination. Judge fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stevens misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Judge counters with a nice body shot. Stevens rushes Judge and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens lands with a short shot to the head. Judge's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Good shot there by Stevens. Judge misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Stevens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lance Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Judge moves into the clinch successfully.
Judge is looking to take this one to the mat. Lance Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barney Judge. Judge lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Judge misses with a punch on the inside.

Stevens comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Stevens loads up on a big right hand but Judge slips the punch. Stevens lands a jab to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Judge's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Judge tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Judge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stevens thows a body shot but no joy. Nice defenses there by Judge. Judge tries to clinch but Stevens moves out of range. Lance Stevens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A punch combination from Judge misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stevens throws a good cross that connects.

A left lands for Stevens. Judge's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stevens connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Judge scrambles back to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stevens punishes Judge's body with a nice straight punch. Judge throws a nice looking combination but Stevens bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Judge closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Judge ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stevens looks to land a left hand but Judge moved out of range nicely. Judge misses with a low kick. A jab from Stevens misses. Stevens looks to score with a jab to the body but Judge is just out of range. Judge needs to keep his hands up - Stevens had a free shot at his head there. Judge walks into a jab. Judge tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Judge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stevens takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Stevens misses the shot to the body. A big left from Judge misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Judge doesn't manage to clinch there - Stevens circles away.

Stevens missing with a left hand there. Judge was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Judge takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Judge misses with a wild combination.

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Judge tried to score with a low kick but Stevens checks it. Stevens closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Judge breaks the clinch.
Stevens lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Stevens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Judge keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stevens. Stevens scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Judge misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Stevens scores with a jab. Judge acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Judge avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Judge moves away from the strike by Stevens. A telegraphed right hand from Stevens misses the target. Judge finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Judge uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stevens.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Judge tries to clinch up. Stevens swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Judge. Stevens is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Stevens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stevens goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Judge is rocked! Judge gets a clinch. Judge is still on wobbly legs! Can Stevens finish him? Stevens's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stevens lands with a nice body punch. Stevens tries to clinch up. Stevens works Judge's body with a nice hook. Stevens works the jab nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stevens tests Judge's chin there with a solid looking shot. Judge misses with a wild combination.
Stevens fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Judge to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Judge looks to clinch but Stevens throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Judge taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Lance Stevens! After the fight, Lance Stevens was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Downer tries to clinch enabling Malone to counter with a crisp jab. Downer tries to clinch up and Malone counters with a shoot takedown. Downer fights it but they end up in guard. Malone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Malone postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Downer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Malone, into his guard. Downer wanted to stand there but Malone had control of the position. Malone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Malone has his feet on Downer's thighs here. He's pushed Downer off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Downer screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madness ducks under a wild hook from Lok. Madness really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Madness fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lok misses with an uppercut. Madness shoots in for a takedown but Lok shows good takedown defense. Madness defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lok. Lok looks to score with a jab to the body but Madness is just out of range. Lok throws an overhand right that lands on Madness's shoulder, as Madness tries to avoid the shot. Lok stuffs the takedown attempt from Madness. Madness gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Madness. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lok loads up on a big right hand but Madness slips the punch. Lok closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Madness to the mat! Madness manages to get full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lok is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Madness is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lok is aware though and is defending well. Madness throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lok escapes and throws Madness's legs to the side, diving into side control! Lok working the ground and pound. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Master is trying to defend but Stevenson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ropuia doesn't succeed with the takedown and OMalley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ropuia with a poor takedown and OMalley counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Ropuia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? OMalley is fending him off so far but Ropuia persists. Nope, OMalley circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michak Ropuia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ropuia fails with the takedown and OMalley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ropuia thinking. OMalley lands a nice shot that snaps Ropuia's head back.
OMalley lands a head shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! OMalley uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ropuia has time to react. OMalley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A shot to the liver by OMalley. Beautiful body shot. OMalley with a body punch. A glancing blow. OMalley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ropuia fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ropuia fails with the takedown and OMalley counters with a three punch combo that has Ropuia backing up. Ropuia nods at OMalley to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ropuia on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. OMalley slips a jab and a cross from Ropuia.

OMalley is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ropuia rather than just go for the knockout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ropuia. OMalley throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Michak Ropuia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ropuia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and OMalley counters with a crisp one two that drops Ropuia! OMalley thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ropuia to his feet! Ropuia is in big trouble!
Ropuia is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! OMalley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ropuia. OMalley moves out of range of the body kick from Ropuia.
Ropuia shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. OMalley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ropuia wants to clinch up but OMalley keeps it at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OMalley stuns Ropuia with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. OMalley swats away the attempt to clinch by Ropuia. OMalley throws a right hand that Ropuia ducks under and follows up with a left that Ropuia also avoids with ease. Ropuia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and OMalley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ropuia shoots and misses and Ropuia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ropuia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling OMalley to counter with a crisp jab. Ropuia is breathing heavily. Ropuia has his takedown stuffed and OMalley counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Ropuia has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
