Zen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Zen shoots in for a takedown but Boyd shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Ricci Boyd has been cut.

Zen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zen shoots for a double leg takedown but Boyd sprawls well. He's pushed Zen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boyd tries to close the distance and clinch but Zen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zen dives in and grabs Boyd's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boyd pushes down on Zen's head and hops out.

Materson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Piere tries to avoid it but Materson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Piere to the ground. Piere escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Piere lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Materson circles away quickly and effectively.

Piere steps in with a hook that catches Materson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Piere follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Materson looks absolutely devastated.
