The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ozawa is fending him off so far but Ferguson persists. Nope, Ozawa circles away and we're back to standing.
Ozawa feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ferguson's calf.
Ozawa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ferguson fails to land with a series of punches.

Ferguson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ozawa to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Ozawa is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ferguson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ozawa is looking to defend but Ferguson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ozawa! Ferguson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ozawa taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Mendoza finds it's target.
Mendoza takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Paul Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Smith.
An inside leg kick from Smith misses.
Mendoza swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Mendoza avoids the head kick by Smith.
Smith chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Smith wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mendoza throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.
Mendoza walks into a straight right hand from Smith.
Smith attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A clash of legs there as Mendoza blocks the low kick.
Mendoza misses the shot to the body.
Mendoza tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Smith swings around for an armbar but Mendoza sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Smith's guard.

Mendoza has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Smith to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mendoza is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Smith pulls down on the head and he's put Mendoza to sleep! This one is all over!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nelson tries to avoid it but Bravo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nelson to the ground. Nelson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bravo avoids the body shot from Nelson.
Bravo closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nelson counters with a left to the body.

Bravo rushes Nelson and presses him up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Bravo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nelson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Bravo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bravo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
