The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Beach shoots for a takedown but Mincone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Houk moves in looking to clinch but Cruz pushes him off.

Luffy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Luffy wants to get up but he can't break Tatizu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tatizu manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
