Smith comes into the arena with Big and Red by EC blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Gonzales is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smith is just riding it out for now. Gonzales eventually gives up the hold.

Gonzales really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gonzales is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gonzales lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Smith! More strikes land and this one is all over! Gonzales jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
