Cooter closes the distance and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cooter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Cooter throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Tomson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Tomson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cooter has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Inspectah Deck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aristos Ioannidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deck comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan "Protect Your Neck". Ioannidis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. If I Can't - 50 Cent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ioannidis throws the left hand but Deck avoids the punch easily.
Deck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ioannidis circles away quickly and effectively.
Aristos Ioannidis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Deck has closed the distance and engaged Ioannidis in a clinch.

Deck breaks from the clinch.

Ioannidis shoots in and bounces Deck off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
