The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hickock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hickock did well to prevent Pen getting side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pen tries to pass to full mount but Hickock defends it.

Pen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hickock has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hickock has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hickock is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pen pulls down on the head and he's put Hickock to sleep! This one is all over!

Kulk gets to his feet and stands over Farc, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Farc felt that one! Kulk unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Farc from any more punishment!

A relieved looking Krzysztof Kulk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Gyros tries to bum rush Prizefighter with a series of wild strikes but Prizefighter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Prizefighter counters with a head kick that drops Gyros to the mat! Gyros scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Carreri fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Carreri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peters.
Peters lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carreri circles away quickly and effectively.
Carreri shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Peters defends it nicely.
Carreri tries to move into range but Peters moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Carreri fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Peters sprawls well initially but Carreri persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Carreri is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Peters reverses the position - he's now on top in Carreri's guard.
Carreri is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Peters is controlling him.

Carreri isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Peters stacks Carreri on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Peters!

Peters creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Carreri sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Peters controls the position.

Peters has hold of Carreri's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Carreri seems comfortable defending it but Peters has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Carreri is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Carreri is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Peters couldn't care less - he's delighted!
