The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hell quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Chan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hell keeps working.
Chan wants to stand up but Hell is controlling the position.
Hell is controlling Chan's trapped leg to prevent Chan from advancing to side control.
Chan prevents Hell from standing back up.
Hell is looking for a sweep. Chan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hell is not content to let Chan control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jackie Chan wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Hell misses with a body punch

and Chan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Still in half guard, Chan seems content to control.
Hell is concentrating on defense, preventing Chan from advancing position.

Hell pushes Chan off and gets back to his feet.

Chan shoots in and bounces Hell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hell pulls Chan in close to his closed guard and prevents Chan from doing any damage or advancing position.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Chan wants to control from the top but Hell keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Chan fakes the leg kick and cracks Hell in the body.
Chan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hell keeps the fight on the outside.

Chan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Chan trying to control but Hell is working from the bottom.
Hell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hell manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Chan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hell holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hell has his foot on Chan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chan works his way back into a safe position though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hell pulls Chan in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Wet Hell was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Chan, right into the meat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chan closes the distance and clinches.
Chan is looking to control Hell's arms but Hell gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chan has his back to the cage.

Chan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hell regains guard immediately.
Hell is pulling down on Chan's head. It's preventing any offense from Chan, at least for the moment.
Hell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chan is one step ahead there.
Chan trying to control but Hell is working from the bottom.
Chan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Chan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Chan throws a head kick that misses.

Chan feints and as Hell raises his hands in defense, Chan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hell tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hell has Chan pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chan wants to control from the top but Hell keeps moving.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chan looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hell trying to control the position here.
Chan trying to control but Hell is working from the bottom.

Hell is pulling down on Chan's head to control his posture.

Hell manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Chan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackie Chan dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Hell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Chan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hell clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Chan patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Chan punches the canvas rather than the man.
Chan gets his hands free as Hell looks to control.
Even with his hooks in, Chan manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Chan throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hell just trying to survive but Chan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Hell avoids the strikes from Chan.
Chan keeps control of the position as Hell tries to break free.
Hell holding both Chan 's hands and preventing any damage.
Hell wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hell is in bad spot here.
Chan is working the ground and pound. Can Hell escape?
Hell controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Jackie Chan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hell breaks Chan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chan wants to stand up but Hell is controlling him.
Hell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Wet Hell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Chan.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Chan misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Chan working the strikes but Hell uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Hell is looking to improve his position.
Chan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Chan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hell is just riding it out for now. Chan eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hell is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Chan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Chan's back!

Jackie Chan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Chan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Read's entrance music is Animal I have become. A fine choice. Borikav has chosen Pelican - Bliss in Concrete as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brian Read had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Donk. Borikav catches Read right on the button with a cross.
Borikav scores with a crisp jab that stopped Read in his tracks.
A jab lands there for Borikav.

Borikav lands a big right hand that sends Read crashing to the mat! Borikav stays standing though and waves Read back to his feet!

Read is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Read doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Borikav counters with a big left hand that crumples Read! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
