The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Metzler moves out of range of the strikes. Metzler ducks right into an uppercut from Palluza. Palluza lands with a good body shot. Metzler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Palluza. Lulla Palluza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Metzler takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A telegraphed right hand from Palluza misses the target. Metzler staying out of range there. Palluza cracks Metzler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Metzler takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Palluza misses with a straight right. Palluza throws a hook but Metzler avoids it easily. Palluza lands with a straight right. Metzler didn't see that one coming. Palluza throws a lazy uppercut

and Metzler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Metzler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Metzler is pushing down on Palluza's leg trying to pass to half guard. Palluza is fighting to maintain full guard but Metzler has managed to sneak the leg through. Metzler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

I think Meech might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to shear it maybe. Golden has chosen Gold Dust as his entrance music. Patches Meech had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Patches Meech has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meech rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Golden moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Patches Meech seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Golden takes one to the side of the head.
Golden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Meech misses with a series of wild punches.
Golden moves into the clinch. Meech has Golden pressed against the cage, preventing Golden from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Meech is trying to break the clinch but Golden is controlling him. Golden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Meech thows a body shot but no joy. Meech throws a combination that misses and Golden connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Some wild striking there from Golden.

Golden cracks Meech with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Golden displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Meech throws out the jab. Meech scores with a hook. Golden misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Meech.

Golden moves into range and connects with a jab. Golden closes the distance and clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Golden keeps control of Meech as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Meech wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Golden has him pressed against the cage.

Meech keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Golden's efforts to push away. Golden escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Meech feints a jab promting Golden to slip. Meech then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Golden slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Meech fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A combination from Meech does no damage. Meech misses with a hook. Golden ducked under it nicely. Meech misses with a wild combination.

Meech rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Golden moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Meech fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Golden avoids the body shot from Meech.

Meech throws a combination that misses and Golden counters with a left and a right that stings Meech. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No joy there for Golden, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Golden will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Perry doesn't seem phased though. Perry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Perry cracks Mein with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mein looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Perry finish him?

Crunch! Perry slams his shin into Mein's torso. Mein is breathing heavily. Mein steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Perry. That one must have hurt. Mein on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perry thows a body shot but no joy. Perry feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Mein collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Churchall clinches with his opponent.
Wilson is pressed up against the cage. Churchall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wilson down to the mat. Wilson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Churchall clinches. Churchall changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wilson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Churchall fails with the takedown and Wilson counters with a right hand to the body. Piolet Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Winston Churchall. Nice sprawl there from Wilson as Churchall shoots in. Churchall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wilson counters with a left and a right that stings Churchall. This has been an exciting period of action! Churchall has a takedown stuffed. Churchall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Churchall somewhat. Wilson works over Churchall's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Winston Churchall has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Churchall. Churchall fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Churchall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilson as he avoids it easily. Churchall looks winded! Churchall shoots in for a takedown but Wilson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Piolet Wilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Churchall is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Churchall is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wilson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wilson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wilson lands a left and a right that send Churchall crashing to the mat, dazed. Wilson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Churchall is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wilson throws an overhand right that has Churchall reeling! Wilson follows up with more punches and Churchall is out cold! This one is all over!

It looks like Lucas Bisping has been cut. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rojo checks a leg kick. Rojo slips under a jab. Bisping fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rojo checks it well. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Rojo! Bisping is out on his feet! Rojo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bisping is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bisping is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanfield clinches with his opponent.
