Angelo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lemone quickly recovers to half guard.

Bogart on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McCarrot thumps Bogart with a low kick.
McCarrot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bogart circles away.
Bogart displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McCarrot.
No joy there for McCarrot, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McCarrot dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McCarrot lands a head shot.

It looks like Carol Bogart has been cut.
Bogart blocks a head kick by McCarrot.
McCarrot shoots for a takedown but Bogart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cabbage McCarrot. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bogart rushes McCarrot and presses him up against the cage.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Bogart throwing strikes but McCarrot manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bogart tries to bench press McCarrot off him but McCarrot keeps the position.

McCarrot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bogart can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bogart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bogart is putting a hurting on McCarrot here, landing some big shots from side control.

Bogart lands a strong strike to the head of McCarrot. That's dazed him! Bogart looking to finish here. McCarrot is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Bogart lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

The referee asks Skiles politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Skiles prefers to stall for the moment though.
Spanish knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Skiles on the ground.

Ricky Spanish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Skiles closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spanish circles away.
Skiles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Spanish sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ricky Spanish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Skiles.
Spanish connects with a body shot that sends Skiles's belly button to the back.

Spanish feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Skiles sprawling to the canvas! Skiles rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Spanish finish him?!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sekyere tries to clinch up but Santos circles away and keeps his distance.
Sekyere fails with a takedown attempt.
Sekyere shoots in looking for a takedown. Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Sekyere keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sekyere misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jeffrey Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nana Sekyere.

Sekyere closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Santos to the mat! Santos manages to get full guard.
Santos can't keep his opponent in guard - Sekyere advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Santos pushes Sekyere off looking to stand but Sekyere dives back in and keeps control.

Sekyere in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Santos tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sekyere!
