Blue shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunt tries to sprawl out of it but Blue keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Blue could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Blue drops back looking for a leg! Hunt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hunt manages to kick Blue off! Blue jumps back into Hunt's guard.
Hunt wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Blue is looking to advance position but Hunt has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Blue is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Hunt cracks Blue with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Werben kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rise and fall. Josh Koscheck struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. John Werben has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Mir closes the distance and clinches up with Slice, looking for a takedown. Mir pushes Slice against the cage but Slice circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Frank Mir is winning the standup battle so far.
Slice changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mir tries to avoid it but Slice manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mir to the ground. Mir escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mir misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Slice takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
