The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callaghan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Elliott as he jumps to the side.
Elliott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Callaghan is fending him off so far but Elliott persists. Nope, Callaghan circles away and we're back to standing.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Cooke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clack.
Clack tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cooke is able to avoid easily.
Clack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooke as he jumps to the side.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
