Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Unkind Artist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvin Joiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artist comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya. Joiner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Whats the Difference. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joiner is looking to clinch but Artist is avoiding it.
Artist throws a leg kick but Joiner sees it coming and moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Joiner is defended easily by Artist.
Joiner avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Joiner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Joiner there as he acknowledges the shot.
Joiner throws the kick towards the body but Artist avoids it.
Joiner looks to land a left hand but Artist moved out of range nicely.

Artist ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joiner moves away.

Let's hope that Stratton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Maddox looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gracie can't hide his disappointment, as Maddox celebrates the victory.
