0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vox Populi! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cranswick throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Vox Populi has been cut. A head kick lands from Cranswick that sends Populi to the canvas. Populi tries to scramble back to his feet but Cranswick brings him back down into side control.
Populi is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Populi can do anything to dispel that myth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cranswick is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Populi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cranswick gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Populi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cranswick lets go of the hold and Populi can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Silva clinches. Still in the clinch, Da Silva scores with a nice short uppercut. A short left from Da Silva. Da Silva scores with an uppercut up the middle. Da Silva is trying to break the clinch but Quik is controlling him. Da Silva scores with an uppercut up the middle. Quik stalling in the clinch but Da Silva improves position. Quik drops down looking for an ankle pick but Da Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.

Pulp fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Head, pushing him back against the cage. Pulp tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Pulp jumps guard but Head stands there with Pulp around his waist. Pulp gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Head has Pulp pressed against the cage, preventing Pulp from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pulp tries to land knees in the clinch but Head avoids the damage to the body. Pulp wants to stall.

Cosenza seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Krostiniguf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabral shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Cabral which made him look bad. Silva tries for a takedown but Cabral sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Silva with a poor takedown and Cabral counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that. Mauricio Cabral has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Emilankio blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Menezes.
Manny shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A combination from Manny does no damage. Manny tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Manny misses with a wild combination.

Menezes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Menezes scores with a couple of short elbows.
It looks like Gauge Manny has been cut. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Manny tries to bench press Menezes off him but Menezes keeps the position. Manny is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Menezes working the ground and pound.
