0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Shagger! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man wants to clinch. Shagger wants to slow Man down by chopping away at his legs. Man misses with a series of wild punches.
Man scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Good leg kick by Shagger there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Man tries to land a leg kick but Shagger saw it coming and moves away.
Man takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Man with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Man tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shagger was well out of range. Poor timing from Man. Shagger moves out of range as Man strikes. Shagger scores with a leg kick.
Man is looking to clinch but Shagger is avoiding it.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shagger swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shagger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Man misses with a shot to the body and Shagger counters with a lovely shot to the body. Man takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Shagger fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Man has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Man has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Shagger. Man throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shagger sees it coming and avoids it easily. Shagger swats away the attempt to clinch by Man. Shagger misses with a few strikes there.

They are putting on a show! Shagger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Man. Man lands with a straight right. Shagger didn't see that one coming. Man keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shagger. Ip Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Man clinches up with Shagger and pushes him back against the cage. Man is looking to control Shagger's arms but Shagger gets an underhook and turns him. Now Man has his back to the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Man is trying to pull guard but Shagger turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Man lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Man.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Man pushes Shagger back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Man is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Ip Man dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Shagger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Man working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shagger. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Man lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shagger!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Shagger because Man loaded up on that one. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Man cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Shagger wants to control but Man is having none of it. Shagger really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Man with shots to the head and body - Shagger looks very uncomfortable down there. Man is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Shagger has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Shagger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lowley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Noir stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lowley lands a jab-cross combination. Noir tries to clinch but Lowley moves out of range. Noir takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Lowley jabs Noir to the body, keeping him at a distance. Lowley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Noir is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lowley. Lowley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lowley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lowley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Noir reaches up around Lowley's neck trying to control. But Lowley takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Noir! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Noir is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Lowley celebrates the victory with the fans!

Schrodinger thuds his shin into the meat of Monroe's side. Monroe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Schrodinger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Monroe gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nice body punch from Schrodinger. Schrodinger tries to circle away but Monroe has him pinned against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Schrodinger's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schrodinger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Monroe throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Schrodinger tries a head kick but it misses.
Monroe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Schrodinger looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Schrodinger misses with a wild combination.
Schrodinger takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Schrodinger moves out of range of the strikes. Schrodinger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Monroe misses the shot to the body. Monroe connects with a looping right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Monroe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Monroe tries to kick Schrodinger off but Schrodinger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Schrodinger is working for a kimura but Monroe is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Schrodinger wants to pass the guard but Monroe is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jon Monroe will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Schrodinger trying to control but Monroe is working from the bottom. Monroe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Schrodinger tries to free his leg and advance position but Monroe is retaining full guard. Schrodinger is stalling in the full guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Schrodinger takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

A big left from Monroe misses. Schrodinger tries to move into range but Monroe moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Monroe avoids a punch combination nicely.

Monroe jabs Schrodinger to the body, keeping him at a distance. Schrodinger keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Schrodinger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Monroe pinned against the cage. Monroe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Monroe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Monroe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Monroe lands with a shot to the body. Monroe just misses with a punch to the body.
