The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cavallo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Shields throws a series of strikes that have Cavallo backpedaling.
Shields looks to land a combination but Cavallo avoids it well. Cavallo thows a body shot but no joy. Cavallo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shields gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amah with a poor takedown and Melcher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Amah throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Melcher works his way back into a safe position though. Amah wants to sweep but no luck. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Melcher accidentally thumps the mat. Melcher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Amah on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Amah tries to get to full guard but Melcher has control of the leg. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Oh but Amah is tightening it up a little... Melcher has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Melcher reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Melcher taps out! Nice BJJ there by Amah!

Stock throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

They are putting on a show! Stock throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kupper. Kupper takes a kick to the side of the head. Kupper fails with a takedown attempt from distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stock throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kupper's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stock connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kupper scrambles back to his feet. Stock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Stock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

That was a close round but I would say that Adelbert Gainsborough will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Magalhaes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. ONeill works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A lazy left from ONeill finds it's target. Magalhaes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. ONeill checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. ONeill lands a glancing blow to the side of Magalhaes's head.
