Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Brown's legs - danger averted.

Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blackburn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.

Blackburn scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Blackburn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Silva takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Silva tries to buck Blackburn off but Blackburn is having none of it.

Blackburn is working to tighten is grip on Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Blackburn is really squeezing tight and eventually Silva passes out! Blackburn breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A less than humble Alex Blackburn misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
