The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcllin gets tackled into the cage by Gunns. Gunns maintains the clinch. Gunns is pressed up against the cage. Mcllin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gunns down to the mat. Gunns avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Mcllin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Mcllin wants to clinch. Gunns misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mcllin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gunns but Gunns pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mcllin throws a nice looking combination but Gunns bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gunns misses with a takedown and Mcllin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Gunns drives through and clinches with Mcllin against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunns trying to control the position but instead, Mcllin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gunns into the cage. Mcllin breaks from the clinch.
Mcllin leaves Gunns with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Vernon Mcllin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Gunns. Mcllin misses with a head kick.

He's got his arms around Mcllin's waist but Mcllin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gunns off to one side. Gunns checks a low kick from Mcllin. Gunns with a lazy takedown attempt and Mcllin counters with a head kick that drops Gunns to the mat! Gunns scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Gunns is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Mcllin lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Gunns falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Malone.
It looks like Jenna Haze has been cut. Haze misses with a double jab
and Malone makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Haze really felt that one! Haze misses with a double jab.
Malone clinches with his opponent.
Haze throws a head punch that misses. Malone stalls. Malone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Malone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Haze, pushing him back against the cage. Haze is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Haze misses with an elbow over the top. Malone breaks the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Haze misses with a double jab.
Haze wants to clinch up but Malone keeps it at a distance. Jenna Haze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Malone moves out of range and avoids them all easily. No joy there for Haze, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round. Malone clinches. Malone leaning against his opponent.
Malone pulls guard. Malone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Haze postures up in Malone's guard and throws a big left but Malone blocks it. Malone has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Haze off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Haze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Malone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Haze circles away. Malone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Haze as he jumps to the side. Malone fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moses Malone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Malone scores with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Malone closes the distance and clinches. Haze is trying to force a seperation but Malone has the dominant position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Malone keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Haze's efforts to push away. A frustrated look appears on Haze's face as he tries to break the clinch. Malone tries to pull guard but Haze holds him up against the cage and eventually Malone drops back down to his feet.
Haze is trying to push Malone away but Malone has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Malone effectively controlling the action here. Malone seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Haze working hard to break the clinch. Malone wants the takedown. Haze is fighting it off but Malone persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Haze's guard against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malone wants to control from the top but Haze keeps moving. Haze kicks Malone off and gets to his feet. Some wild striking there from Haze.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Malone drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Haze gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Haze looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Haze tries to circle away but Malone has him pinned against the cage. Haze is trying to break the clinch but Malone has him pressed against the cage. Malone blocking some punches.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Haze looks to land a combination. Malone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Malone has taken the fight to the clinch.

Haze jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Malone walks away with a smile on his face. Haze gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moses Malone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jenna Haze's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malone utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Malone wants to improve his position but instead Haze has moved into half guard.

Oh but Malone has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Haze goes limp - he's gone! Malone jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asanov tests Sanchez's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sanchez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Asanov keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. Asanov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We're going to have a standup here because Diego Sanchez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Asanov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sanchez.

Sanchez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Asanov keeping control of the position. Sanchez is trying to control the action in half guard but Asanov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Asanov wants to get back to his feet. Asanov is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Sanchez is working for a kimura but Asanov is defending it quite comfortably.

Sanchez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Asanov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sanchez doesn't seem bothered though. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Asanov scores with a jab. Sanchez acknowledges it with a nod of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Asanov throws the kick towards the body but Sanchez avoids it. Asanov throws a head kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Asanov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Asanov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanchez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanchez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sanchez has a takedown stuffed. Asanov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Asanov cracks Sanchez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Asanov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sanchez to stand back up!
Sanchez is rocked! Asanov steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Sanchez is out on his feet! Asanov sets himself and nearly takes Sanchez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

A close round but Lui Kwang Sun will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kwang Sun on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Lui Kwang Sun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Kwang Sun tries to move into range but Lyons moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Lyons throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kwang Sun. A lazy left from Lyons finds it's target. Lui Kwang Sun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kwang Sun is looking to chop away at Lyons's legs. Kwang Sun gets caught napping as Lyons dives in and scores a takedown. Kwang Sun manages to retain guard. Kwang Sun is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! You can see the frustration on Kwang Sun's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. and Lyons connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kwang Sun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lyons as he jumps to the side. Rory Lyons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lui Kwang Sun. Lyons feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kwang Sun sprawling to the canvas! Kwang Sun rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lyons finish him?!
