The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendrix closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Littoris did well to prevent Hendrix getting side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Littoris wants to improve his position but Hendrix is controlling well.
Hendrix looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Hendrix thows a huge punch but Littoris dodges it nicely.
Littoris wants to control but Hendrix is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hendrix content to control rather than advance. Littoris tries to get to full guard but Hendrix has control of the leg. Littoris is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hendrix is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Littoris trying to hold on to Hendrix's head to control him but Hendrix postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hendrix lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

It looks like MIke Littoris has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Littoris shoots and misses and Hendrix counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Littoris falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Jones leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A punch combination from Silva misses. Silva tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones scores with a shot to the body.

Jones drives through with a takedown into Silva's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Silva is trying to keep Jones in close.

Jones is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position. Silva won't allow Jones to pass to mount. Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jones lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jones is looking to advance position but Silva won't allow it. Jones not doing much here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones gets a double leg takedown into Silva's guard. Jones trying to stand up but can't free himself from Silva's guard. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jones wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Silva forces his way into half guard. Silva passes into side control, despite Jones's attempt to control the position.
Jones manages to get back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva prevents Jones from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side. Jones throws a lazy body kick and Silva counters with a leg kick. Jones is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Silva passes the guard and advances to mount! Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones can't escape the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uchida fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jin sprawls well initially but Uchida persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Uchida is working for a submission of some sort.
Jin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uchida on the ground. Uchida looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jin tries to roll over but Uchida keeps him under control. Uchida seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Uchida stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Uchida clinches up with Jin and pushes him back against the cage.

Uchida has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jin is trying to keep an underhook but Uchida manages to get the takedown into half guard. Uchida controlling from mount. Jin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jin is trying to reverse the position but instead Uchida has taken his back - oops! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Uchida has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Jin! Can he survive? No! He's out! Uchida gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ben Faur stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bobby swivels though and keeps the full guard.
