Rytkonen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The Nose is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Rytkonen moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Rude throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Macab shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rude but Rude pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rude feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Macab's calf.

Rude lands a right hook to the body.
Rude shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Macab eats them both and turns towards Rude to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Rude lands a big head kick that sends Macab tumbling to the mat! Rude takes a step backwards and waves Macab back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Macab is rocked!
A nice inside leg kick there by Rude. That's going to slow Macab down.
Oh Macab is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Macab wants to stay close but Rude steps back to make room for something. Macab seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Rude and Macab drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ahokas shoots in looking for a takedown. Abbot tries to sprawl out of it but Ahokas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Abbot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ahokas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ahokas wants to pass the guard but Abbot is keeping the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Abbot cracks Ahokas with a left hook right on the temple and Ahokas goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Abbot lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Ahokas is OK!

Tank Abbot is the new super heavyweight champion!
Tank Abbot decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
