Maverick changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jones tries to score with a low kick but Maverick moves his leg out of the way.

Maverick closes the distance and clinches.
Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.
Maverick lands a hook that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Maverick has double underhooks.

Maverick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Maverick.
Maverick can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seth Maverick. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Maverick changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Maverick is breathing heavily.

Jones instigates a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones lands with a right that hurts Maverick. Maverick looks to clinch but Jones throws a short knee that drops Maverick. This one is all over!

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edern Ap Nudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Waldrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waldrup has chosen five finger death punch...lift me up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brandon Waldrup struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Edern Ap Nudd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ap Nudd lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ap Nudd prevents Waldrup from breaking the clinch.
Ap Nudd lands a nice uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Ap Nudd.
Ap Nudd lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Ap Nudd lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ap Nudd drops Waldrup onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Waldrup is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!

Waldrup is rocked!
The fighters are playing wrist control here with Waldrup pressed against the ropes. Ap Nudd frees himself up and cracks Ap Nudd with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Waldrup crumples to the floor, out cold! Ap Nudd jumps on to the ropes and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
