0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Rockfist! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockfist tries to clinch but McGoose is having none of it. Rockfist tries to clinch but McGoose moves out of range. McGoose circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rockfist tries to close the distance and clinch but McGoose swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McGoose gets a takedown into half guard. Rockfist is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rockfist is looking to improve his position.
Rockfist is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McGoose tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rockfist knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McGoose controlling the action here. Rockfist tries to kick McGoose off but McGoose keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

McGoose slips a nice elbow through Rockfist's hands, connecting with Rockfist's forehead.

McGoose is thwarting Rockfist's attempts to control the position. Rockfist is trying to stand up here but McGoose is controlling him well. McGoose sitting and controlling from the half guard. McGoose works his way into side control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McGoose controlling the position from side mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McGoose tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. McGoose is staying tight to Rockfist's torso, preventing him from escaping. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Rockfist throws a right and a left that McGoose avoids nicely. Rockfist closes the distance looking to clinch
and McGoose counters with a nice double leg into guard. McGoose prevents Rockfist from getting back to his feet. McGoose advances to half guard. McGoose controlling the pace. Rockfist keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. McGoose throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Bruce McGoose overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rockfist takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rockfist is looking to improve his position.

Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! london tries to break the clinch but Linus is controlling the position. london tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Linus just stands there and leans against the cage. Linus stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Linus decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on london, up you get! london looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Linus is fending him off so far but london persists. Nope, Linus circles away and we're back to standing. Linus shoots and misses
and london counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Linus's guard now. london trying to move into half guard but instead Linus has managed to sweep!

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ben Linus. Well Linus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - McGee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jake Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGee lands a left and a right that send Johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. McGee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
 It looks like Jake Johnson has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGee fails with the takedown and Johnson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. McGee is lucky that one didn't land flush. McGee moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off. McGee doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from McGee. McGee gets slowly back to his feet. McGee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but McGee persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing. Jake Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Skippy McGee.
McGee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee asks McGee politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. McGee prefers to stall for the moment though. You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Johnson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because McGee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

McGee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Johnson, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGee is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Johnson's shoulder. That is not cool. McGee trying to control the action but Johnson is working from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McGee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Johnson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Johnson is looking to reverse the position. McGee cracks Johnson with a big elbow. Johnson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

McGee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. A head kick from Johnson lands but McGee takes it in his stride.

Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGee on the ground. Johnson trying to keep a closed guard but McGee is proving a slippery customer.

McGee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. McGee is taking a breather. Johnson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson trying to hold on to McGee's head to control him but McGee postures up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Haran paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Haran finds Aonghus's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Aonghus flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Haran lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Aonghus will be OK.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! james digs a good body shot into Bell's ribs. james changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bell tries to avoid it but james manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bell to the ground. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. james rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. james checks a leg kick. Bell missing with a left hand there. james was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. james misses with a head kick.
james slips under a jab from Bell. james shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bell pinned against the cage. Bell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. james takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
 It looks like jesse james has been cut. jesse james seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bell closes the distance and clinches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. james prevents a takedown attempt there.
james gets control of Bell's arms and successfully pulls guard. james will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. james utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bell prevents james from getting back to his feet.

james kicks Bell off and gets to his feet. Bell misses with a straight left.
james looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bell! Bell regains half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bell is refusing to be controlled, as james sits in half guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Diaz is staying active underneath Dudley, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dudley trying to control from Diaz's half guard. Diaz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dudley! Diaz is in the full mount, landing strikes. Diaz with a couple of short strikes. Dudley is bucking up trying to escape but Diaz cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Diaz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dudley's face.
