The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gallow fails with a takedown attempt. Michael shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gallow's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Michael wants to stand but Gallow is controlling his posture from full guard. Michael prevents Gallow from getting back to his feet. Michael trying to control but Gallow is working from the bottom. Gallow is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Michael is controlling him. Michael wants to stand but Gallow is controlling his posture from full guard. Michael trying to control the position from guard on top but Gallow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Just Michael wasn't doing enough on the ground. Gallow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Michael misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Gallow misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Michael tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gallow wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Michael defending against the ground and pound. Michael avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gallow. Gallow looks winded! Michael manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gallow's best efforts. Michael on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gallow throwing shots but Michael is blocking nicely. Gallow lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Michael is looking to escape. Gallow with the ground and pound but Michael uses the opportunity to regain guard. Michael is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gallow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gallow stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Michael throws up his legs and catches Gallow in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Gallow tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Michael! That came out of nowhere!

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Larenzo Moritini! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moritini shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mendieta manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Moritini throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mendieta is trying to control the position but Moritini postures up. Moritini slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Mendieta knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moritini on the ground. Mendieta regains half guard, as Moritini was trying to land strikes. Mendieta is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moritini throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mendieta wants to improve his position but Moritini is controlling well.

Mendieta tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moritini sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mendieta somewhat. No luck for Mendieta with that takedown attempt. Mendieta is breathing heavily. Moritini shoots in looking for a takedown but Mendieta manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Moritini's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moritini misses with a takedown attempt - Mendieta sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mendieta fails with an attempt to clinch.

That will dishearten Moritini somewhat. Mendieta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mendieta fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moritini pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naboki staying out of range there. Brickley throws a lazy head kick and Naboki counters with a thumping low kick. Brickley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Brickley slips a straight right by Naboki. Brickley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Naboki momentarily.
Brickley throws out a loose jab but Naboki uses good head movement to avoid it. Naboki throws a body kick that misses. Brickley connects with the punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brickley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A big right from Brickley misses. Brickley throws a lazy right hand but Naboki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Naboki with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A punch lands to the side of Brickley 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Bill Brickley has been cut. Naboki throws a nice inside leg kick. Brickley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Brickley looks to throw the jab but Naboki is out of range. Sloppy strikes from Naboki. Those never looked like landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Naboki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Brickley misses with an uppercut
and Naboki counters with a nice uppercut. A left lands for Brickley. Naboki defending well as Brickley loads up on a big left hand. Naboki scores with the left hand. Brickley knows he should have avoided that one. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brickley throws a one two combo.
Brickley is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Brickley misses with a straight right. Naboki cracks Brickley with an uppercut from hell and Brickley crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Naboki's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

He's dropped a big elbow there and Brickley looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Naboki turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Lagoc Ii leaves Aue with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Aue punching from the bottom - just letting Lagoc Ii know he's still in a fight. Lagoc Ii trying to control but Aue is working from the bottom. Lagoc Ii must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lagoc Ii drops back looking for a leg! Aue is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aue manages to kick Lagoc Ii off! Lagoc Ii jumps back into Aue's guard. Lagoc Ii scoring with some ground and pound. Gump walks into a straight right hand from Steel Penn. Steel Penn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gump on the side of the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Steel Penn scores with a nice right hand.

And that's the end of the fight! Avenger Of Steel Penn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Steel Penn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
