1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damian Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miles Plumlee! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plumlee throws a series of punches but Khan moves out of range. Khan slips a jab and a cross from Plumlee.
Plumlee lands with a shot to the body. Plumlee throws a wild body kick that Khan sees coming a mile off. A combination from Plumlee does no damage. Plumlee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khan. Plumlee throws a right and a left that Khan avoids nicely. Plumlee with a hook. Khan throws a chopping leg kick but Plumlee manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Khan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Plumlee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Khan shoots in for a double leg but Plumlee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Plumlee tries to bum rush Khan with a series of wild strikes but Khan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Plumlee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Khan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plumlee is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Plumlee is looking to chop away at Khan's legs. Plumlee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Plumlee is looking to clinch but Khan is avoiding it.
Khan shoots in looking for a takedown but Plumlee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan dodges the punch combination from Plumlee.
Plumlee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Plumlee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Khan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Khan is breathing heavily. Plumlee looks to land a combination. Khan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A head kick misses from Plumlee.

Khan thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice uppercut lands for Plumlee. That snapped Khan's head back.
Plumlee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Plumlee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Khan swats away the attempt to clinch by Plumlee. Khan throws a jab but it's blocked by Plumlee. Miles Plumlee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Plumlee misses with the combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Plumlee tries to land a front kick but Khan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plumlee throws a nice looking combination but Khan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Plumlee misses with a two punch combination.
Khan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Plumlee. Khan has a takedown stuffed. Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Plumlee tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Plumlee to the ground. Plumlee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Khan is looking to clinch. Plumlee misses with a wild combination.
Khan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Plumlee as he jumps to the side. Plumlee has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan throws a hook but Plumlee blocks it. Plumlee scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Khan doesn't seem bothered though. Plumlee sizes up Khan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Plumlee cracks a nice hook into Khan's ribs. Khan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Plumlee attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Plumlee moves in looking to clinch but Khan pushes him off. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Khan punishes Plumlee's body with a nice straight punch. Plumlee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Plumlee wants it to stay on the feet. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Khan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Khan moves out of range as Plumlee strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miles Plumlee dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Plumlee with a hook. Plumlee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Khan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Khan shoots in looking for a takedown but Plumlee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Plumlee's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Plumlee duly obliges. Plumlee scores with a one two! Khan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Plumlee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Khan under the eye. Khan dodges the punch combination from Plumlee.
Plumlee throws a right and a left that Khan avoids nicely. Plumlee throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Plumlee throws a nice looking combination but Khan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Khan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Plumlee sprawls well. Plumlee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Khan gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plumlee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck for Khan with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Plumlee takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Miles Plumlee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Plumlee with a nice cross. Plumlee throws a combination that misses and Khan counters by moving into the clinch. Khan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Plumlee backwards.

Khan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Plumlee sees it coming and avoids it easily. Khan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Plumlee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Khan is in Plumlee's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Plumlee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Khan is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan is stalling in the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Plumlee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Khan. Plumlee tries to close the distance and clinch but Khan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Plumlee throws a series of punches but Khan avoids them all with ease. A head kick misses from Plumlee. Plumlee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Khan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Plumlee's head backwards.

Plumlee misses with an uppercut. Plumlee stuffs the takedown attempt from Khan. Khan gets slowly back to his feet. Khan shoots in for a double leg but Plumlee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Plumlee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Khan circles away quickly and effectively. Plumlee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Plumlee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Khan sees it coming and avoids it easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Plumlee misses with an uppercut. A close second round but Miles Plumlee will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Plumlee gets caught napping as Khan dives in and scores a takedown. Plumlee manages to retain guard. Plumlee is looking to stand up but Khan isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Plumlee trying to remain calm as Khan controls from the top position. Plumlee is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Khan asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Plumlee can do anything to dispel that myth. Khan advances to full mount. Plumlee is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Khan has taken his back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patton forces Shota back against the cage and clinches. Shota tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Patton just stands there and leans against the cage. Shota is fighting off a takedown attempt but Patton is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Shota to the mat. Shota regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Shota working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Patton. Shota keeping moving, preventing Patton from controlling successfully. Patton won't allow Shota to get back to his feet. Shota is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Shota is looking to advance position but Patton won't allow it. Shota tries to stand but can't do so whilst Patton controls his leg. Patton flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Shota is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Patton! Shota wants to get back to his feet but Patton is holding on tight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Patton wants to control but Shota is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shota tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Shota wants to control the pace but Patton is squirming around nicely. Patton can't escape the position.

Patton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Shota! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Patton wants to control but Shota is keeping him busy. Shota gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shota is looking to escape.

It’s a flash knockdown though - Patton manages to regain guard straight away.

Shota has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Patton is proving hard to escape from. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shota is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Shota wants to get up but he can't break Patton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Patton shoots in and gets a takedown into Shota's guard. Patton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Shota's guard. Shota lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Patton! Patton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Shota is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Shota avoids the attempt from Patton to control. Shota tries to control but Patton wriggling away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shota tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patton is desperately trying to improve his position but Shota has a good base and remains in mount. Shota controlling the pace for now. Shota wants to stand but Patton is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Shota frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shota trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Shota is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Patton is squirming around, avoiding Shota's attempts to control the action. Patton seems to have got his legs back now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Patton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shota wants to lay and pray for a moment but Patton keeps working. Shota is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Patton! Shota is looking to stand but Shota has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Shota is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Shota extends the arm and Patton is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damons is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kato sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kato takes the fight into the clinch. Kato pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A right-left combo lands from Kato. Kato instigates a clinch. Kato breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kato throws a nice looking combination but Damons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kato throws out a powerful jab. Kato moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kato stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kato wants it to stay on the feet. Kato bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Damons shoots in but Kato avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Damons. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kato shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Damons's guard. Kato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Damons looking for subs off his back but Kato has passed one foot through into half guard.
Kato looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kato wants to stand up but Damons has a hold of him and won't allow it. Kato is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Damons doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kato. Damons slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Damons has his foot on Kato's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kato works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kato looking to sit in guard and control but Damons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kato wants to stand but Damons is controlling the position. Damons trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kato's guard. Damons pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kato is keeping the position for now. Kato pushes Damons off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kato feints a jab promting Damons to slip. Kato then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Damons slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Kato wants to pass to mount but Damons is defending the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kato is looking to take a break and control but Damons is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Rq. Scotch does a little dance to reset his feet. Scotch throws a body punch but Rq moves out of range. Scotch moves away from the strike by Rq. Scotch scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Scotch defending well as Rq loads up on a big left hand. Scotch fails to land the takedown. Rq loads up on a big right hand but Scotch slips the punch. Scotch jabs Rq to the body, keeping him at a distance. Rq throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Scotch to counter with a crisp jab. Rq tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rq misses with a looping left. Rq missing with a left hand there. Scotch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Rq tries to clinch up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Scotch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rq moves away. Rq misses the shot to the body. Rq staying out of range there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sys Rq dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scotch lands with a punch from half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scotch is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Scotch working over Rq with some ground and pound. Rq looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Scotch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rq is staying active underneath Scotch, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Scotch looks to land a strike but Rq avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Scotch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Scotch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Scotch landing some decent shots from guard. Scotch throws a big right hand that misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Scotch is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Scotch scoring with some ground and pound. Scotch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Scotch throws an elbow that misses. Rq uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Scotch's guard. Nice move by Rq! Rq has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Scotch keeping moving, preventing Rq from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scotch is controlling Rq's posture. Scotch manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rq manages to get himself to full guard.

Scotch tries to free his leg and advance position but Rq is retaining full guard. Scotch throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rq works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Scotch looking to pass the guard. Scotch in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Scotch trying to control but Rq is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scotch lands a couple of decent looking shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leopold Scotch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Scotch circles away from the clinch attempt and Scotch counters with a lovely shot to the body. Scotch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rq sprawls well. Rq wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Scotch gets slowly back to his feet. Scotch connects with a right hand. Rq shakes it off. Rq throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Leopold Scotch hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rq defending well as Scotch loads up on a big left hand. Rq stuns Scotch with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Rq ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scotch moves away. Scotch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Scotch shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rq as he jumps to the side. Rq scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Scotch ducks under a wild hook from Rq. Rq walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ericssonl stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ericssonl wants it to stay on the feet. DaCola scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ericssonl tries to improve position but can't. Ericssonl is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but DaCola has just dragged him back down to the mat. You can see the frustration on Ericssonl's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ericssonl manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ericssonl decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. DaCola tries to close the distance and clinch but Ericssonl swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. DaCola looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. DaCola misses with a takedown attempt and Ericssonl counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Leif Ericssonl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lola DaCola. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! DaCola misses with a takedown attempt and Ericssonl counters with a crisp one two that drops DaCola! Ericssonl thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves DaCola to his feet! DaCola is in big trouble!

That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Nogg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Myles lands a nice looking body shot.

That was a close round but I would say that Ogg Nogg will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

letting Myles counter with a right hand. Oh Nogg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A low kick from Nogg is predictable there and Myles makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Nogg really felt that one! Myles ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Nogg's jaw. Nogg's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Myles does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Skyler Myles! Skyler Myles retains his bantamweight title! Skyler Myles was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
