And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tekken Slice!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Roman lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Roman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Roman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Slice fails with a takedown attempt.
Roman blocks a head kick by Slice.

Slice fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Roman to the ground. Slice is now in Roman's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Slice drops back looking for a leg! Roman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Roman manages to kick Slice off! Slice jumps back into Roman's guard.

Slice ducks under a wild hook from Roman.
Slice stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters circle momentarily. Slice darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Roman has picked Slice up - he's going for a ride! Roman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Slice is staying active underneath Roman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dante Gael Roman.
I think Slice has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
